The room had great space for hanging clothes and enough drawers for underwear. We used iron and ironing table. We used the bar on Friday night were all the family were arriving from Edinburgh, Oxford, Australia and Tenerife. Suddenly the barmaid came round and asked for last orders!! We were like it’s only 9.45 barmaid said, manager said it’s quiet so we will close early!!! And they did. Also one of our party went for a pizza, and was told the kitchen was closed, again this was closed earlier than it should have been. I am physically disabled and booked an accessible room, I should have asked but was so disappointed and upset that it was a bath in our room and not a walk in shower. There were beetles running along the carpet on the outside wall, we bought spray to kill them. The toilet flush was broken. It wasn’t a very good experience at all apart from the reception staff and the cleaning/dining room staff they were all great!!! Don’t think we will be visiting again anytime soon

The fact that there was no wet floor shower. There was a few beetles I had to get my husband to kill them for me. Fridges we’re out of order, so no cold drinks. There was 12 of us sitting in the bar having a drink when the barmaid announced the bar was closing early, we asked her why? She said the manager told her to close up early because they weren’t busy. There was also another2 couples and 2 guys.the 2 couples left just before us, but the 2 guys had moved further into the bar and also had plenty drink in their glasses

I asked for an accessible room, expecting a wet floor shower. I didn’t realise I had to ask if there was a wet floor shower and when we arrived it was a bath. We were going to a wedding so, I ended up not being able to shower and just to have a good wash down.

I'm being very honest here .. iv stayed here many times over the years and the hotel would need a good refurbishment as its looking tired and dated. But the rooms are clean and fresh thats the main thing ..

I didn’t like that it’s not on a direct bus route and it was hard to get a taxi so I’d advise pre booking taxis. Also I hadn’t realised that the breakfasts weren’t Buffett style on a Sunday morning as normally when we stay away I like the kids to fill up for the journey home however the breakfasts were beautiful that we did have. I also didn’t like that when I went downstairs at only 22.15pm the bar was closed I only went to grab the children some crisps and was told we are closed. I asked if I could just maybe grab a few bags and pay to take them to our room but I was told no and because of the location I wasn’t able to get them from anywhere else.

The reception ladies were absolutely lovely I was travelling with 3 children and they made us feel very welcome as were the cleaning ladies we helped them out and stripped our beds etc the room was spacious and adequate with bath shower kettle etc and tv the bed was very comfy and the children’s too. The bar staff were very pleasant too and I loved the fact it had the soft play for the kids to run around and blow off some steam.

Hotel was having WiFi issues during our stay and nobody available to help the staff resolve the issues. This meant we couldn’t pay with card and had to leave the hotel for cash to then pay for breakfast. This wasn’t ideal with two young children. The beds weren’t the most comfortable and our youngest actually rolled out twice during the night. It felt like you were sleeping on a slope.

Location was good for what we needed. The food in pub was lovely.

Very disappointed with the breakfast now. Coffee now in a hot jug which wasn't hot, poor choice for continental breakfast, there used to be grapefruit and Danish pastries but not now. My daughter had the full English and the mushrooms were in garlic butter, surely unusual first thing in the morning. Also it wasn't mentioned when ordering. Our room was clean but cold and only one set of towels.

Location. On line you cannot tell it is within a retail park. It looks as though it is in a quiet location.

Good size room, with bath . Easy access to public transport if required .

Beds were not comfortable, some areas of the room starting to look "tired" and particularly noisy floors in the bathroom. Just felt a little tired in general. Holes in the wall from something previously hung/placed.

Friendly staff, well equipped for price, ample parking and decently clean.

I've stayed in the Wishing Well many times for work, & again everything was very good the staff were excellent & my stay was very comnfortable, food was lovely.. I will know doubt stay again in the future..

Window could not shut properly. Continental breakfast was not worth the money, had to ask for milk and bread. Only had cereal and a croissant with butter there was no ham or cheese. Did not get asked if we wanted a cooked breakfast.
