The dinner menu could have been more imaginative and extensive

Breakfast buffet was quite comprehensive. The hotel was far cheaper than hotels in Fort William. The evening dinner buffet was good value for money.

The building and facilities are very very old and dated.

Amazing staff: very kind, always available, flexible and very very professional. In particular Denise, she was so sweet and kind to take care of our requests to change the room due to a broken window and very important and helpful for us to fix a very tough situation (we had a flat tyre in the middle of the day), compared to the very poor assistance of our rental car.

It’s a bit rundown, bedroom windows handles /open mechanism broken, scruffy furniture, buffet style breakfast and evening meal was hit of miss, loads of coach parties in and a lot of people examining what food was available in the buffet. evening meal time starting 6:30pm is too late, we tried evening meal once then ate elsewhere as it wasn’t very good. Restaurant Staff need more training and to pay attention to what’s going on..

The grounds are amazing, very handy location for both upper and lower Tyndrum train stations, room was comfortable enough, really at £76 per night per head for room breakfast and dinner you can’t complain, especially where it is based. Asian girl on reception was very pleasant and helpful. Would stay again but would be room only and no meals as I don’t like buffet style service.

The shower was not easy to adjust. When you turned up the hot water, the water also came through the bath tap. However, I was able to find a compromise.

The room was basic but good and had everything we needed. The dinner was good with the good choice in the buffet and the breakfast was as good as anywhere else. The location is excellent for walkers and passing through the area. There was also a complimentary bottle of red wine and two large bottles of water in the room which was an unexpected bonus.

There is time for a makeover, we all felt we had stepped in to a Time Machine. The mattresses were not comfortable, dining area not cozy, rooms not well though out, pictures in strange places, curtains rather ugly and seemed in different lengths, no place for the suitcase etc. Very poor wi fi. Much noise from the next rooms and the pipes.

The lock was functional but needed replaced. There could be better signage for where you can park your car -need more designated spaces. The double bed was fine for single person but if I'd been with a friend partner space would be tight for two. Reception area gets very congested when coach trip arriving.

I was visiting to run in a race so can't comment on breakfast as left very early. I went to the workers accommodation by mistake and very helpful man there redirected me The receptionist was very welcoming and other staff friendly and helpful. The location is fabulous and had a lovely view. You allowed me to leave car there for the day.

This was the first time we had stayed here. The facilities are a wee bit dated but the staff were super friendly and helpful. Overall reasonable value for money and happy to go back again.

The interior of the (spacious) room and small bathroom must have been at least 30 years old. The plumbing taps and heating were very rustic. The buffet food was very average.

£8.20 for a Chardonnay, breakfast was self service between 8 and 9am, We went at 8.30am and although there was a good selection- all the hot food was barely luke warm.

Was quite worried after I read some of the reviews but was desperate... Hotel is fantastic- great design,huge and open plan bar area, room was modern and airy.Didnt look dated at all. Big bath and plenty of hot water.

I asked for a double room on the ground floor but got a twin room on the first floor. Will not put me off staying here in future but i booked early in the season i thought this would be accommodated.

Staff were helpful and polite. Good location for walking in this area. Hotel could do with some refurbishment but doesn't put me off staying here.

The arrangements for serving breakfast could be reviewed. With all of the serving tables in a continuous single line, this had the consequence of people having to rejoin the queue multiple times. If the tables were separated (e.g. one for fruit juice/tea/coffee; one for cereal/fruit/yoghurt; one for cheeses, cold meats etc; one for the bread/toastinf/croissants/jam and marmalade; one for the cooked breakfasts) I think that would encourage people to go directly to the table they wanted at that point in time.

If you like a lie in or peace and quiet not the hotel for you. Very busy with coach parties and banging of doors. This all started at 6am!

Room very good, decent facilities. Breakfast could have been a little more "traditional" for example some locally caught fish perhaps. The location is very good and the staff were pleasant.
