The hotel was still being finished during my stay but this can’t be helped. The room I was in seemed to be missing a few small items such as a towel hook but this wasn’t important.

Very modern and vibrant. Great location! Also the food was tasty too.

Problem with aircon in our room on two hot days. No solution during our stay. Fans were available. Staff dealt with the reporting of this issue well, offered a room change that we did decline and were completely honest about the fact there was a genuine problem.

There was nothing we didn't like. We mentioned in passing on checking out that it was a bit hot, and were told they were having a/c problems, but they would discount our stay for the inconvenience.,which we didn't expect, but was a bonus. .

Bright, modern clean room. Lovely atmosphere. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Perfectly positioned for Plymouth Pavilions which is next door! Complimentary cocktail voucher. The usual tea and coffee making facilities in the room as well as a hair dryer. Lovely hand wash, shower ger and conditioner.. Bathroom small but perfectly formed, the shower was large, the whole width of the bathroom, with plenty of room to move around.. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing to dislike

Staff, hotel has cool decor, bar is very pleasant for a drink and also to eat lunch or dinner, limited menu but what is there is really tasty and good. Breakfast was included and the selection is more than adequate, something for everyone’s taste I would say. Rooms very nice, and hotel is very convenient to ferry port, we would definitely stay here again.

The only negative we had was that the air conditioning was either faulty/not working in our rooms, and given it was a very mild night meant we were too hot. Mentioned this to reception on check out, and it seems other customers had occasionally mentioned the same issue regarding certain rooms.

Loved the location, decor, vibe, rooms, and staff. The fact that the hotel was dog friendly was a key factor for us as we have 2 dogs. The staff are all clearly dog lovers and made our dogs and us feel very welcome. We have a holiday home in Brittany, which we travel over to 4 or 5 times a year on the Plymouth to Roscoff ferry crossing, and the hotel meets all our needs and requirements so we will certainly stay again.

The bathroom is a little small for 2 people but it is doable. The smart TV isn't as smart as it is - would have been easier to be able to mirror from device to tv.

The breakfast has a good selection of choices. The location is good - far enough from the business of the city but close enough to walk to all the landmarks. The room is good size, and everything is very chic.

Our check in was very easy and informative. Our room was very clean and comfy. The pillows a bit too firm, that is a personal choice. The breakfast choice was amazing, but not a fan on buffet as the food doesn’t stay hot. But the food was to a high standard. Loved the quirkiness. Coffee was very good.

No Netflix or streaming TV. UK TV channels suck. Would have been nice to watch a Netflix movie in the evenings. Connecting device to TV only steamed music. Wouldn't deter me from staying again however.

Moxy is a trendy hotel. Excellent for the business traveller. Great food. Excellent breakfast selection. Would recommend.

Needs a sign on the back of the hotel, Google Maps send you to the car park entrance……..guess what???? No ‘Moxy’ sign on the back of the property, nothing!!! So you keep missing it.
