How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Nothing to do with caravan. Haven facilities should be open longer and offer more flexibility with timings.
Lovely caravan within walking distance of beach and all facilities on sight.

Key safe a bit award to use especially if you had a hand disability. Very muddy area around the property in blared of more flagging.
Spacious for two or more. Decoration good. Facilities excellent.

Unfortunately poor phone signal and the WiFi in the caravan wasn't much better either couldn't handle 2 smart phones at the same time. Play passes at the complex are very expensive. So would probably not return any time in the future.
Caravan was lovely and comfortable had everything that you would need. Received all the relevant information in regards to check in well in advance.

The double bed was extremely uncomfortable and mattress urgently needs replacing, springs dig into neck and back making sleep painful and almost impossible. I tried to use spare duvet and pillows as a mattress topper but it sadly didn’t help much at all. This isn’t a fault to the owner I am sure If they were aware it would have been replaced. Its worse on one side than the other. Sadly It’s the only thing that lets the caravan down. Other wise it was all perfect.
Excellent communication from owners from start to finish very easy booking process and deposit refunded promptly. Exceptionally clean caravan, rather spacious and homely.

We were happy with everything, we didn't get haven passes but it would have been nice to know that we were allowed to use the park and water fountains earlier in the week. Perhaps a note to let people know in the future that you don't need to pay to use these facilities.
Very clean, nice, comfortable caravan. Good location. Great instructions from the owners on how to get in activate the alarm, etc. My daughter really enjoyed the decking space outside. Well equipped for cooking if we needed to. We really enjoyed our stay.

The caravan was beautiful. Clean and tidy. Very comfy beds and quilts and pillows. Very spacious. Excellent storage for your personal belongings. The owners respond very quickly and friendly. Definitely recommend this caravan.

We'd have found an airer handy to dry towels and swimwear (maybe we missed it?) but otherwise the caravan is very well equipped.
This is the perfect base for a reasonably priced family holiday. Not many caravans have space for a travel cot so the fact the main bedroom is so spacious was a massive plus for us. The sofa on the decking is a great place to relax, having outdoor space was really nice. The park itself is well maintained and plenty to do if you wish and the walk into the town is pleasant too. Communication with the owner was also good, we'd not hesitate to return.

Didn't receive location details prior to arrival and had difficulty contacting the office, which was quite stressful with 2 small children eager to find the caravan.
