Breakfast options were not explained. I do not eat much. Ended up paying 20 pounds for a cup of coffee juice and a muffin. They have an a la carte option but staff only offered buffet.

Service is horrible; no one ever answers the phone....was there for three nights and reception, concierge or room service never answered phone at any time day or night. They also insisted on full payment on arrival which I had never done before. I had just transfered funds to the card I wanted to use for payment and it takes 24hrs to show on my account so I told them to wait til the day after my arrival to to process this as I was under the impression when I booked that I was paying upon check out. They made me feel like a criminal for asking this. Every time I asked a question at the front desk or concierge they hounded me "can you pay your bill please" over and ovet again, was really unprofessionsl. I stayed last year at The Savoy, a 5- star luxury hotel and they never asked for advanced payment. Also they had mentioned I could get a complimentary upgrade and then charged me 50L for it. Made me feel bad for using Booking.com also....will never stay there again!!!

I liked the room and that all rooms have bathtubs. The location is good.

We didn't like the continue noise. we were in 269 room and it was like an engineering machine was working around us with a constant noise very annoying. we had to sleep with earphones and music all the night and we couldn't rest well.

The dirty serving utensils at breakfast. They need to change them regularly and remove the food debris The beans spoon was sat on a dirty plate of bean juice, the eggs spoon was covered in congealed eggs

Overall a nice hotel, friendly staff and good location, very close to tube. We dropped our bag into the concierge until we were ready to come back from show, really friendly and the receptionist was super friendly and provided a room with 2 beds as I was travelling with my daughter. Nice quiet room too

Rooms looked a little dated which didn't expect given the price, lots of noise in the early hours (sound proofing between rooms not brilliant)

Slow lifts.

Spacious comfortable stay. We appreciated the upgrade to an extremely spacious suite. The location was fantastic; close to the tube station and supermarkets. We also appreciated the free breakfast. All the staff we dealt with were friendly. We will definitely stay again.

There could be more room in the dining area as it’s to crushed and people push and shove it’s not the greatest breakfast I’ve experienced

Breakfast seemed a little iike a free for all, after being seated and taking the children to get their food only to return to the table to find another person sitting at the table so then having to stand in the way trying to explain to staff our table has been taken with which she brings me hand sanitizer, instead of asking the lone man to move

Not really a 4-star hotel as advertised. Lack of many basic facilities and room supplies. Toilet water is not clean, and it feels sticky.

The room was cold, the staff was in bad mood all the time. Not even water on the rooms.
