The hotel is an old place about 150 years old. But the room we stayed in was good enough for 3 of us. And the sea view was spectacular. The staff was very friendly and understanding.

Hotel very dated needs updated and no bed side lamps only main light

Confusing on arrival as the door was locked and lights seemed off but once we rang the owner he came straight away to let us in so not a massive issue .

We were upgraded rooms which was really lovely of them . They also let us keep our car in the parking space for some of the day after checkout which helped us a lot! Room was comfy and had the necessities.

Double room very very small, window is blown so condensation inside it. Didn't use shower as mould put me off but didn't have hair dryer in room anyway. Paid extra for cooked breakfast and that was very disappointing, greasy fried egg, rock hard bacon, sausage was passable, no tomatoes or mushrooms.

Paying for breakfast paying for car park added more additional cost which is not included

Very dissapointing room was very small and considering there was only 1 more couple staying we were put at tbe back of hotel and on 2nd floor. Breakfast was supposed to be included jn price but if you wanted cooked breakfast you had to pay only toast n cereal was free also parking is £10 but it was empty think they need to rethink there policy

It was a basic and small room and a basic breakfast. The green over the door light does not turn off and it lights up the room during the night, which made it hard for me to sleep... just a minor irritation that can be remedied. There was only one small window in the room but as the weather wasn't too warm, it was ok. The TV was small but at least it was there. However only a few channels worked. And the wifi didn't work in our room. As we came in high season the price was high, so not optimal value for money. Next door is outdoor seating area and can be a bit loud but no noise at bedtime.

We liked the bed, it was firm and very comfortable. And the view couldn't be much better. We appreciated the car park option even though we were charged £10 per day which was the same rate as street parking. Would have expected it was included in the price of the room as usually it is elsewhere. The staff was very welcoming, helpful, smiling and friendly. The room was ok and fulfilled our needs.

No English breakfast

Great location but paid for a hot breakfast and it was only continental. Also on offer for all guests in the morning. Room was too small, en-suite had standing shower, clean sheets but the pillows were rocks.

The proprietors are quite new in hospitality and in time with there attitude and determination I'm pretty sure they will do well but what I liked was they were making every effort to endure our stay went the best it could

The breakfast was lovely a choice of cereal toast fruit juice and a full English breakfast, great. The proprietors were really friendly and welcoming, more than happy to help. The hotel is opposite the beach so easy access for families and to to far a walk from the pleasure beach

Hotel is very run down and needs lots of attention. We paid for breakfast but didn't get breakfast only offered tea and toast. Room was small quite clean but had an awful smell of sewage
