On arrival the front reception was very rude and we chose to come from Australia for our special anniversary, no acknowledgement of the occasion, even made us stand and wait to gain access to the room after 3pm and a long drive from Inverness. To be honest, Stephen at reception was the best and helped Andy get a tour of the golf facilities. His colleague with glasses and and a beard should go to customer service school!!

We liked the restaurant, the gardens, the architecture.

The property is really big and has many rooms so we had to walk , climb stairs and take lifts to finally get to our room where later on we found out there is another entrance from the country club which made our way to the room entirely easy , the staff could have at least helped with our bags being brought to the room

The whole place was an wonder , It was like a place from an movie set it was nice to stay at an colonial palace , the breakfast was great but the spread was the same on the second day as well and moreover the place had many facilities and also was warm and cozy

No Sky Sports golf in room. Missed end of PGA championship, because bar closed at 10 PM (Not what I would expect from a golf oriented hotel). No access to transportation from front gate for those of us coming in on the bus (and is not a short walk with luggage and golf clubs).

Room was excellent. Breakfast buffet was very good. Enjoyed the golf course.

Dinner menu totally underwhelming in both restaurants. Expected much more from a property of this calibre One night we had a beef burger in the casual restaurant. Worse burger I have ever eaten

Expected an amazing room for the price, selected upgraded deluxe room but it was just like any normal motel room. Staff was good except one terrible hostess in the smaller restaurant who forgot to put our order in and was unapologetic. Same smaller restaurant caused a fire alarm and evacuation of hotel an hour later.

Beautiful place, could feel the history, friendly staff, elegant breakfast room, quiet being on a golf course.

It can be quite tricky to find your way around the hotel although some might find that part of the charm! The rooms were too warm and we had the window open all night. Breakfast was OK but there were no glasses for juice and we had to ask for milk for the tea.

Very nice hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was great and the Brasserie restaurant was very nice although service was a little slow.

Stunning location with some impressive grounds. Our room was very comfortable and quiet considering the size of the hotel. We enjoyed a really lovely dinner there and used the swimming pool facilities including sauna. I was impressed with the cleanliness, high standard changing rooms and showers. Breakfast was varied and very tasty. Convenient location as it is reasonably close to Edinburgh.

Staff at breakfast room were not up to speed ! Very young and probably not been supervised and trained right for job ! Breakfast was pretty standard . No fresh berries just melon to have with cereal ! No choice of eggs just scrambled ! Coffee machine with just takeaway cups no mugs ! No cutlery or milk or cups on table for tea or coffee ! Pretty average for a hotel of Dalmahoy G&C clubs stature !

The double beds were very tiny for two adults. The SPA was overcrowded and only included sauna and steam bath. The hotel is very old and there were no clear indications to go from one place to another.

The facilities were nice and clean. Breakfast was OK but a little bit expensive. The Brasserie restaurant very very nice and also the views to the countryside and golf club.

The selection of meals at the restaurant were a bit limited. Regarding the room, the bathtub was leaking a bit, making the water level drop slowly when bathing.
