Several things! The outlet on one of the nightstands was broken. The view was horrible and looked over a train yard, which had trains running 24/7. We had to leave the window open at night because the room was so hot, so we heard the trains all night. Lastly, we thought breakfast was included so that first morning we went to the dining area and put a croissant on our plates. The attendant asked us for our room number and said we weren’t eligible for the breakfast. The manager then came to us and said if we wanted to stay we each had to pay $17pounds. We told her we would pass and we left. The next morning I received an email from the hotel welcoming us and talking about the breakfast dining! Needless to say I was confused so we never went into the dining area again. Very rude and frustrating!

Room was not dusted. Rubbish under the sofa from previous guest not cleaned. Room cleaned only every other day. Shower gel almost empty when i got there.

Close to Lower Marsh for good and affordable food options. Courteous staff.

No Drinking Water in the fridge.

First the customer service did well but collected money from us because we arrived earlier than our check in time which was really not nice. RooM- the room was great but there was hardly no water to drink in the room. The room has no phone , no saving box and the head lamp was right under my head. I kept hitting my head. LOCATION. that was great as it was close to shops and metro. BREAFAST was ok, meal was ok but for a 4 star hotel, one would like to see more. In over all it was a nice place to stay over and watch all the trains from our top room. Kind Regards thank you

Our room was facing the wall, I think many rooms on 1st and 2nd floor face that wall. It's probably ok if you stay there for a night to two, but if I would stay there longer I ask different room. There is no dining table, there is a desk and big tv cupboard. I would prefer to have a small dining table, since there is a kitchen in the room, instead of other big pieces of furniture.

Conveniently located near the tube and bus station. There is little supermarket next door, which has all basics. The street with informal dining options id nearby. The kitchen is well equipped. The room was clean. The hotel has a room to store the luggage.

Not used to the bar closing so early!

Loved the location and that the staff went above to decorate for our honeymoon!

The room had very little storage space. A couple of shelves with drawers is standard. As it is we had to live out of our bags because we had no where to put things. The staff were frequently not available. Often the bar was unattended for multiple minutes at a time and the luggage collection area was abandoned on the day we left with no clear idea of what how to signal someone's attention. This may be a more general London issue but in most of the developed world a hotel bar that closes at 10 is very strange. (We did have a lovely time and these were all fairly minor annoyances)

The room was nice, the location was great and the price was very reasonable. While the trains were very noisy we were very impressed by how soundproof the windows were. The 4-8 happy hour was very welcome. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful.

The room was a little small and it felt very no frills but if you are staying for a longer period there is a kitchenette. The location was nice but a little far from the center of London
