Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThere was absolutely nothing to dislike
Spectacular views and great facilities around. The whole place was really tidy. Really good for families with kids as the play area has loads of attractions to keep them occupied for hours. With the cabins located in the middle of a farm there was loads of animals around and there was no need to set alarm for the morning as roosters made sure we didn’t sleep in and started waking us up from around 4am. Our lodge was really good equipped with all the cooking essentials needed, pots and pans, cups, glasses and plates were clean and ready for us to use. We will definitely book again !!

United StatesThe cottage ran our of gas during our first night, and it got very chilly! (But the host was very responsive in replacing the gas tank the fallowing morning.)
Wonderful location--remote, quiet, and naturally beautiful, but reasonably close to Caernarfon and other sights. Love the sheep and donkeys!

The chalet was a good size, it was equipped better than most places we've stayed and it was spotlessly clean. All of these great things pale into insignificance when it comes to location. For us, access to Snowden was the reason to stay there but there are so many beautiful places within easy access.

United KingdomThe kids were a little disappointed there was no longer a games room. But was not a problem. Please remember to take your own bedding and towels. Towels are not available to hire and bedding is a little bit expensive to hire. Otherwise we loved the place.
Everything was just how u would want it to be. We enjoyed it so much we've booked again for next year. Also we didn't want to leave.

United KingdomTastes differ, but we liked everything, we could have lived there our whole life! The views were fantastic and meditative, we enjoyed the sunset colours of the hills while chilling out at the decking table after our walks in Snowdonia. The location was perfect, you should be extra careful on the tiny road, but it never was a problem for us. The private car place was a paradise as well! The atmosphere at the campsite was very friendly, welcoming and home-like (especially when you put your washing to dry in the sun on the community dryer haha). We loved to see the kids of different age playing together at the playground - true kids enjoying their summer freedom outdoors, they looked so happy! Our just 3-year-old son fell in love with the sandpit and could have stayed in it all day long (but actually climbed up Snowdon via Ranger!) We enjoyed the farm features like feeding the donkeys and making our breakfasts with the freshest farm eggs. We were pleased to find a hand wash, dish washing gel, bin bags, kitchen cloths in the house as we brought ours thinking there would be nothing of these. There was everything to live comfortable not just for a few days, but the whole life. You do need to bring your bedding covers and towels, but thinking big - it saves the campsite spring water! Thank you for this cosy, beautiful and lively place, we hope to return in the future, all the best to your team!

United KingdomThe scenery is amazing and the lodge is in a great elevated position has stunning views of the mountains. Beds are very comfortable. Lodge must be well insulated because I expected it to be stuffy on the very hot days but it was comfortable. Car parked right next to the lodge is a bonus. The facilities are great for a relatively small campsite (I hadn't even realised it was a campsite when I booked. The lodge is separate from the tents and caravans, but very close to the utility room if you need to use the washing or laundry facilities). The large veranda is great, but steps are not gated, so might be an issue for parents of toddlers or dogs. The caravan next door had a portable barrier so perhaps similar would be available., the swings, sandpit and climbing frame right next to the lodge were appreciated by our 12 year old, as were the lovely donkey neighbours! We had a lovely break and wouldn't hesitate to return.

United KingdomAbsolutely great place to stay for great walks and adventures around North Wales. Great owners and staff all very helpful and nice to chat too! The pictures don't do it justice it feels lots bigger once you are there. The kids loved the donkey's being right next too our accommodation and also loved all the other animals around the site. Also a great touch was the use of a private brick bbq. The dog also had a great time on the decking that has rails all around so he could come in and out when he liked!
