Pool that can be a bit overcrowded with a lot of young kids playing around. Would have been nicer to be in a quieter environment. Security: we had a person who knocked at our door at some point saying they would have to check something in the bathroom without giving any explanation. We didn't open and asked if we could get a call from reception confirming it was someone from the staff but he didn't insist and left to knock at other rooms.

When arriving at reception the lady upgraded us to a bigger room which was unexpected but really appreciated. She was very nice with us. The room in itself was great and clean. The access to the spa is an absolute must as this is unlimited during your stay and you have a nice choice of facilities (pool, heated room, aromatherapy, sauna). I have just to say the pool can be quickly overcrowded especially with young kids which makes it difficult if you want to do laps. However the swimming lifeguard kindly offered to tell people to keep a line free so I could swim.

The £50 they take off your credit card for “service you may use” . Last time we never had it returned. But watching this time as we made sure that we had nothing that could invalidate the return of our £50 .

Pool is brilliant. Some rooms we have had have fantastic views. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast staff are very good at looking after their guests.

The balcony didn't have any table and chairs although it had an excellent view.

The staff were so nice and helpful - especially Arnel who really made an effort to ensure we had all information required and felt welcome in the Hotel. Breakfast was great and set us up for the day and the swimming pool was lovely and relaxing. Location excellent and loved that I could hire an umbrella!!

The disjointed layout of the hotel. Also when we checked in we were sent to a room that had already been allocated to someone else and there belongings were in there. The room we were then given was not as nice and didn’t have the same view.

At the beginning I was quite enthusiastic about the hotel. The service in the restaurant and at breakfast was very nice. The rooms are nice and the room service was also great. Unfortunately, the bored ladies at the reception are a less great experience. One was in a worse mood than the other. For a hotel they are the figurehead and it is such a shame for this actually beautiful hotel.

The hotel staff was in a call when I was checking in and I had to stand there for a long time with my family after being very tired from travelling. That was not a great first impression and we didn't feel very welcome. However, after that incident all other interactions with the staff were very pleasant.

The hotel is exceptionally located, very close to the Tower Hill, one of the major attractions for any tourist in London. It is 2 minutes away from the London tube and 3 minutes way from bus stations. I also had the most amazing view from my room window with the Tower Bridge in all its splendour! Staff was excellent, very prompt and professional, always ready to help with anything I needed. Special thanks to Robert for his amiable approach!
