Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

IrelandWhen we arrived we could not check in until 3pm which was a bit later than other hotels and then we had to check out at 11am which was a bit early. Be great if it could check in earlier and out a bit later.
Location was perfect so close to everything. The staff were so lovely especially down at breakfast. The food for breakfast was so good and had so much variety and choice

United KingdomThe lighting in the bedroom was very low so it was difficult to read in the evening. The bathroom was newly fitted and had a super shower but there was nowhere to hang clothes or towels in the bathroom.
The room and bathroom were clean. The breakfast was very good with a wide range of food and also served until 11 at weekends. The hotel is very centrally located. A short walk from the train station (which you cannot hear) and Princes Street and also a short walk from the Royal Mile and the Castle.

United KingdomLocation is perfect if arriving by train. Waverley station is 5 minute walk away. Rear exit of the hotel leads up steps directly onto the Royal Mile. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

When i am having breakfast on my second morning before i checkout. Not a major problem at all even made me smile.
Location perfect and it seemed smaller so didn't seem overcrowded. Front facing room makes a lot of difference.

CyprusGiven that we stayed in a triple room, we expected three luggage bag stands and at least two chairs.
Leonardo Royal Hotel (43 Jeffreys Street, Old Town, Edinburgh) is strategically located for exploring Edinburgh Old Town on foot. The Main train station was only a 3' walk away, and shops and restaurants about a 12' - 15' walk away. The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful at all times - especially the reception people who made our stay so much more easy and comfortable. Room 626 was spacious and fully equipped. Wi-Fi was free and effective. The hotel was in very good decorative order. The sound insulation was very effective. Room care and breakfast were excellent. We had a memorable stay at Leonardo Royal Hotel!

United StatesThere were a few small holes in the blankets and pillow cases. It might have happened from two winged insects that we noticed (and disposed of) that were on the side of the bed and on the pillow when were first arrived. Killed two and didn't see any more the rest of our stay. Looked like a clothes moth when I looked it up. (Stayed three days).
The bathroom was fantastic, it had a great mirror. The provided really good hand lotion, shampoos, and soaps in the hotel. My mom plans to have some shipped back home from the "White Company London" stores. The hotel location was right next to the train station.
