I would have preferred a room with just a shower cubicle rather than a bath, but I hadn't made a special request so I'm not complaining.

I arrived at 11 a.m. hoping to leave my bag before going to an event, but my room was ready so I was allowed to check in. All the staff were very friendly and breakfast had an excellent selection of hot and cold food. The hotel's location is very convenient if you're travelling by train.

The TV in our room was old and outdated it was difficult to watch. There wasn't any extra pillows for the bed. There wasn't a blanket/throw for the bed for when you was just laying on it and relaxing.

The staff were welcoming, helpful and hardworking. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The toilet and bathroom were clean and the shower was really nice. Breakfast was excellent and the staff worked really hard to help and top up the food.

The bathroom was very dated and the room could have done with a bit of extra care with cleanliness, particularly the headboard on the bed and the walls next to the bed.

I liked the restaurant and how polite the staff were. The location was fantastic and it felt like a very safe area to stay.

there was nothing to dislike. I didn't have breakfast which seemed a bit pricey.

clean and surprisingly spacious room with a window that opened. Not only was here a desk and chair but also a kettle and some tea. Quick, hassle-free check-in and check-out. The spacious bathroom actually had a bath in it. very comfortable bed. Just 5 minutes walk down road from station. hotel might not have been busy but the room next door was occupied and didn't hear a peep from them.

A little bit of advance notice of window cleaners would have been nice, as we were surprised by the appearance of a cleaning brush smacking against the window at 8am but otherwise absolutely no complaints.

2nd time staying in this hotel, and it was just as good the 2nd time. Great location 5 mins walk from the train station and 10 mins walk or less from everywhere you'd want to go in the centre of Nottingham. Room very clean, beds super comfortable, air con was a god send & it was very quiet despite being near a main road.

I'd say that there needs to be more effort recently for the staff to come over as more friendly, smiling and warmer: I have used the hotel restaurant on various occasions since last July- the menu is slightly limited and overpriced for some dishes. I find that, unless you request or put out the right sign, the room is not properly attended / cleaned in the day: which can be disappointing to return to after a busy working day-then I need to sort my own bedding and tidy around the room. This is based on my experiences of regularly using this hotel very frequently since July last year and pending again this month.

I have been using this hotel on regular short business-work trips for past seven months; as a frequent guest and with lots of short stay accommodation experience in the UK. The double room is always very well resourced, very comfortable; I like the privacy and high standards of overall guest experiences during my monthly three night stays since July last year. Free wi-fi is always very reliable; most window views are bright over Nottingham and location by the main station is excellent facility. The buffet breakfast is always very well provided and the staff work very hard here in the mornings to ensure enjoyment.

We booked a room with a bath (according to the booking.com listing) and didn't get a bath.

Bed was amazingly comfy. The receptionists girl we spoke to was so wonderful and bubbly and gave a really warm atmosphere to our arrival and departure even though shebwasnt checking us out and just saw us leaving. The room was really well decorated, the windows were a big part of the corner of the room and were gorgeous. The heating was really quick and easy to use. The location is fantastic if you come by train.

Bathroom. Spotlessly clean, but feedback (hopefully helpful) as follows: Shower - a moveable head is really useful (I have a medical condition, but anyone with young children or an elderly parent would also realise the value of a hand held shower head). Fan - quite noisy and also needed a good clean. Toilet - the fill didn’t turn off so it was constantly dripping/filling/emptying into the pan.

Location. Value. Clean. Nice design rooms. Absolutely silent windows kept out traffic noise amazingly well. Air con if you wanted it - also very quiet.
