Only bad thing is it’s very difficult to get a taxi if your planning on going anywhere. But if you drive this won’t be an issue

Really nice view of the lake and fountains from the hot tub, beds were comfy and the food in the restaurant was beautiful. I’m not too bothered about golf but the golf course looked really good

The open loving space was amazing the lodge was set a good distance from other lodges so you didnt have to worry about noise. It was clean and tidy everything we needed

There is a wasp issue. When entering the property we found 6 dead wasps, and had at least 20 wasps in the property over the weekend when we had the door to the hot tub open, seemed to be a nest somewhere. Luckily, wasps aren’t a phobia of ours.

The location was private, not overlooked. Great that it was dog friendly.

Tv signals were very poor and could only watch a couple of channels. Hey I'm here ro relax not channel flick,so I wasn't that bothered

Ideal location for relaxing few days. JJs diner was within walking distance and food was amazing. Lodge was very tastefully decorated and felt very comfortable. Kitchen had all amenities but never used. Check in was 4pm but recieved call to say lodge would be ready earlier at 2.30 which I thought was very thoughtful to call me. Check in Was smooth and Check out was so easy putting keys into keycode box. Emptied beds of linen and removed rubbish to site bins. It's the site rules but not too much to ask for

There was a full ashtray left out on the deck and a few bits in the hot tub if I were to pick at anything, but these were so minor

The lodge was the ultimate place for relaxation. Really beautiful lake, comfy and much bigger inside than the pictures show. Cupboards had most things we needed for cooking and dishwasher was great. We really really loved it.

No extra towels. 4 adults for 3 nights had 4 bath and 2 hand ! It said towels provided maybe should say how many ! Showers were luke warm and not powerful Outside not clean. We did it . Inundated with wasps too !

Diggers 12ft from our hot tub- not so much the relaxing soak we hoped for. However they did stop work at around 5pm each day so there was quiet on an evening

The lodge was situated on beautiful grounds, and was absolutely beautiful. It felt really homely inside like we were in our own living room. It rained quite heavily but we stayed cosy inside.

If you are cooking in as we did on the one night, there is not a great selection of pans etc and the knives were not sharp, so take sliced bread😂, other than that no real complaints we enjoyed our stay

Tidy site with nice views of lake, the cabin was inviting as it was cold outside when we arrived but the unit was super warm, in fact probably to warm, the hot tub was a good size and set at 38 for arrival

The only thing that bothered me was a small vent above the bed that let in a cold draft in a morning, it was directly above our heads which I know can’t be helped.

I loved that it had a built in hot tub this was lovely to enjoy whenever we wanted.
