The room and especially the bathroom are in need of renovation. On the first two days the service at breakfast was extremely chaotic, although this seems to have now been dealt with by a change of management and serving a continental breakfast instead of full English. The lift operates strangely, sometimes going up to higher floors before taking us down.

The location in central London is excellent, the staff were very friendly and it was clean. Despite a few minor issues we enjoyed our stay.

All rooms with windows to the inner yard are quite noisy because of all the air conditioners and the poor windows insulation. Poor choice at breakfast.

the breakfast! not the quality but the complete lack of organization. 3 people try to do everything. Welcoming the guests, clearing the table, refilling food, bringing clean glasses. Maybe you should not set the table, each guest can get cutlery and glasses. Then you just have to clear the table (1 person). Another task is to refill the food and plates, glasses and cutlery (1 person). A third receives the guests and seats them (1 person). give coffee and tea from a vending machine, not take them out to everyone. so this could be improved

The shower was way too low I’m only 5.10 and couldn’t get under it needed to be at least a foot higher. The receptionist wasn’t very welcoming when we arrived. Quite abrupt and didn’t come across very friendly at all. As that was the first person we seen it wasn’t a great start. However all other staff were helpful over our weekend. Lastly breakfast tables were squashed in not much room to move. I felt like we were always in someone’s way.

The property was clean the beds were nice and we had no issue with the breakfast other than egg choice. Only scrambled no fried or poached eggs.

My room - 1008 - was very cold - only realised the following morning the window was open. the queue for breakfast was quite long so we decided to eat at the local pub round the corner instead

the hotel is close to two tube stops, hyde park and is good value for money - another good point for us was that the check out is mid day - it allowed us to work in the room while we waited for our pick up

The walls are tremendously thin so it was a little rough being able to hear the conversations of those next to us and below us. And the pillows were terribly flat.

The hotel looks great from outside but a bit old inside, from my view. I can hear other customers when they walked or had conversations during I was in my room. However, overall I think it was great to stay here.

The location is great, near the Hyde Park and many choices of underground stations. The staff are great, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.
