We didn’t have a good sea view which we had hoped for (because of a house in front of the property as well as the car park)

It was a very clean property, cosy and comfortable. Loved the hot tub. Location to the sea and good restaurants- fabulous!

Not a dislike at all, but be sure you know which cottage or villa you’re booking. There are six or seven of them.

Spotless clean. Sunset out the front door. Beach across the street. Did I mention spotless clean?

    Beautiful location with amazing sunsets!

Each cottage has a designated parking space and this can become an issue if someone parks badly or has more than one vehicle. There is a free public car park a little way down the road and we ended up parking in there one night which shouldn't really have been necessary. This could be more of an issue when all the cottages are fully-booked. There's no privacy if you are sitting in the garden. (There are no back gardens as the properties back into a hill).

The cottage is in a lovely location - just across the road from a lovely beach with the most amazing sunsets. The road is reasonably busy during the day but this dies down in the evenings. Even at its busiest, there were very few people on the beach. Those that were tended to be at the end furthest from La Pulente where the restaurants are. The property itself was immaculate - everything looked new. The beds were very comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised that someone came in mid-week to change towels and do a quick clean. This property also provided tea towels, bin bags, toilet rolls, washing-up liquid, a few dishwasher tablets, a couple of washing machine pods, a few tea bags, some coffee pods and some milk. We loved coming off the beach (water was cold) and into the hot tub. We also could have had use of the facilities on the Les Ormes main site which was about ten minutes drive away. The front garden area has two sun loungers, a hot tub, a large outdoor table with benches, a cantilevered umbrella and a kettle barbecue. The beds in the bunk room are adult sized. There's a downstairs toilet with washbasin next to the bunk room. The main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with toilet, washbasin and shower. The smaller double (two singles together) has the family bathroom directly opposite with toilet, bath, over-bath shower and washbasin. There's a largish storage cupboard on the landing for storing suitcases. I think there's a collapsible cot in there as well as ironing board and iron. There's a hairdryer in the main bedroom. The nearest supermarkets/shops are about 5 minutes up the road in Red Houses or St Peter where there's a large CoOp. Staks is about 100m up the road - great ribs, moules et frites and large kebabs. Great views from the balcony! Coffee hut on slipway below cottage. Le Braye, El Tico's and Sands are close to the beach, a little drive down the road but are great places to eat.
