Everything was as we would wish for.

This is the third time we have stayed here, which says everything about how much we enjoy it! The new owners have continued the excellent standards set by the previous owners so we will definitely visit again.

I'd booked the bigger rooms - Henry, for example from the images, but received smaller rooms (they were good too) but my expectations per the stay bookings were bigger room.

Loved the place, location, hospitality, ambience! Everything was just really good. Comfortable stay, really helpful staff! Amazing landscaping and beauty get a sense of calmness and positive vibes!

We loved everything about Kateshill House, our room was huge and beautifully decorated and with luxury accessories. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice and cooked to order. The grounds are gorgeous and very well cared for. The location is perfect, Kateshill is just 5 minutes from Bewdley and all it’s amenities but in such a peaceful setting, the silence was deafening. Our host was really friendly and made us feel so very welcome. We will definitely return as soon as we get the opportunity.

I’m personally not a lover of carpet in bathrooms and more options at breakfast would have been nice (E.g. fruit or pastries) but to be honest I’m splitting hairs the stay was great.

Large room set in a quaint town and lots of greenery around. Sam was really helpful and attentive, even allowing us to check in quite late due to trouble on the M1, good sized bed, nice touches with free bottled water and tea etc. and the view from our room was great.

Loved everything about this property, all staff were so polite and very welcoming, went above and beyond in every way they could, breakfast was very tasty and very well presented with many different choices, was lovely and quiet, beautiful surroundings and not far from the local town, I’d highly recommend anyone to stay here, we will certainly be going back again! I booked this stay as it was my fiancé's 40th birthday and I wanted something special . It was a lovely grand stay , the room was beautiful and decorated staying with the age of the building , we had a lovely view of the garden and the most unusual tree which we was fascinated by , the surrounding area was peaceful and tranquil (we have a 5 year old so just perfect for us ) and literally no more than a 10 min walk into the town and Riverside which had a insightful museum , beautiful gardens and lots of places to eat and drink 🍸 I had booked this for 2 nights but due to very sad family circumstances we had to leave a day early, we was gutted we had to go but the owner was so understanding and sympathetic and even only charged us for the 1 night we stayed ..very very kind ! So I couldn't recommend this place enough 😊 we will be back ! Xx

Everything about kateshill was perfect. Prime location tucked away in a leafy green lane with only a 5 minute stroll to the town and Riverside of Bewdley. Passing small and historic pubs and homes along the way ( look out for the blue plaques). The staff, Sam in particular 🙌 were welcoming, friendly, polite and hospitable. Understandable why the breakfast won the 2023 award, perfectly cooked and served. 👌 Our suite The Henry on the top floor had a beautiful view across the gardens and was pure luxury from the minute we entered. You have to see it to believe it! ❤️ The hotel was a historic pleasure to look at as you approach and the interior was exceptionally tasteful, immaculately clean and fresh. The terraced gardens are peaceful to relax in giving a stunning view and are beautifully maintained. Including a small allotment area. Kateshill we are coming back!

Lots of improvements from the last time we stayed so nothing to not like.

We have stayed before so new what to expect. Sam who looked after us is a breath of fresh air. Funny, helpful and welcoming. Rooms are amazing. Breakfast was delicious. In a lovely quiet spot. Perfect. I think it's better now new owner has taken over as you can get refreshments. Bar being installed too which is a bonus.

whilst we only stayed 2 nights we were reallly spoilt. The Manager went out of her way to cook us a lovelysupper and put on music as we were the only ones dining. She was vdery thoughtful in viw of my restricted mobility.

Most places we stay in have an in-room safe and small fridge which would have been beneficial for both security and keeping drinks cool especially in summer. This property did not provide these items. Although the food provided was good, there could have been more choice at breakfast eg more fruit (eg melon) and yoghurts and perhaps a continental option e.g croissants.

It’s a beautiful well kept grade 2 listed building and the room was lovely and comfortable with stunning countryside views. Staff were very helpful and pleasant, it was spotlessly clean and well maintained with a lovely garden. Food provided was also very good and well presented. It was also very well situated in terms of being walking distance to Bewdley’s attractions.
