A big problem was finding the hotel. There was no clear sign from the road that the hotel was there. Even once the side road was found there was no sign at all where the hotel was. Given that the hotel was within the setting of university accomodation thus was very frustrating.

I was not up for breakfast and breakfast was not inclusive other than free coffee and pastries. The room was very clean as was the hotel throughout. Some neighbours were making noise but I rhink they were asked by staff to be quiet and did so.

- shower tray really smelly and wouldn't drain again (same happened on my last visit last year). - noisy corridors and slamming doors. Could use a soft-close system as you can hear everything out in the corridor from your room.

- Comfy bed and good temperature - great location and good value for money - staff really good as always. Polite, helpful, chatty and happy to go the extra mile

No problems whatsoever with the hotel. Trying to get a Sheffield taxi company to come out there was a little difficult however.

The 3/4 bed was a squeeze for two adults.

Excellent location for the Halls of Residence next door. Basic, but adequate facilities. A Kitchen to share. Even the young people in the other rooms were well behaved and not too noisy!

Lack of tea and coffee facilities in room but brought cup and own supplies and used communal kitchen.

Handy for overnight stay to see daughter who is a student at the university. Good value for solo traveller. Limited free parking on site.

Mattress was past its best and really sagged in the middle; I left the hotel with an achey back. Pillows were OK but not very supportive. The upholstery on the bedhead was frayed and torn. This didn't look good and made me feel a bit squeamish. Room looked a bit tired generally and, although clean, decoration needs a refresh. Notwithstanding these comments, which are meant to be constructive, I will be returning. Great find!

Everything I needed. Excellent kitchen facilities which I wasn't expecting and will use when I come again. Bed linen was crisp and clean, towels likewise. Staff were very helpful and keen to please. Lovely surprise to find out that a light breakfast was included in the room price. Quiet location and plenty of parking next to the hotel. Fantastic to be so close to the student village and very, very convenient for meeting up with my student offspring!

One night I struggled to sleep because of the strong wing and the room was very noisy because the window was not completely insulated. However, the wind was exceptionally strong.

This is the perfect solution for people travelling solo and for work. Staff is very friendly and the room absolutely spot on. There is also a shared kitchen if you need to warm up food or hot water. Facilities are basic but there is everything you need. The breakfast is a bonus, even if very basic. It has been three weeks in a row that I am using it and I am very satisfied.

I liked everything except the noise of other people walking outside and being cheerful and noisy but it was Saturday night and a student area, so that was sort of expected

Everything was great! The location was very good, there was a nice walk within the area of other hotels/accommodation. And a little shop not far away where you could get all essentials. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean. The staff friendly and keen to help.
