A great hotel in a wonderful location on the Jerbourg headland. Our room had a view over to Sark and France. The staff were exceptional, they were so friendly and looked after us very well. The hotel is modern, comfortable, has great facilities. The outdoor space is lovely, plenty of picnic tables on the terrace, and an inviting looking pool.

very good breakfast, but mayby let breakfast open till 10.30 hrs in stead of 09.30 hrs ? Beautiful location, near the sea, but when you have no car, you need an electric bike to go to other towns, very high hills

It would have been good to have a supply of drinking water and a couple of glasses or cups. There was a kettle but nothing else unless one requested it. Luckily we had brought our own water containers - it was a hot day.

The location was great for panoramic views of the other Channel Islands and we could see many tourists/visitors being brought here to see the view. The staff in the bar/coffee shop were very friendly & helpful. We enjoyed the great selection available for breakfast and the fresh croissants were delicious!

Staff are more interested in day visitors than hotel guests. breakfast has a very tight turn around and they start clearing at exactly 9-30 whether you’ve finished or not . We had a awful meal on first night , when we told the waiter how bad it was ( burnt burger, fries so over cooked there was no potato in it) he didn’t even acknowledge there was a issue , the meal cost over £75 for 2 basic meals and one drink each so not cheap . You cannot charge items to your room during your stay which means you constantly have to have your wallet/purse with you even if you are sitting round the pool

The room was dated, the bathroom was dated and ugly. I booked a double room but got two singles pushed together but with their own single fitted sheets and two single duvets. When I asked the staff to change it to a double they did and it was lovely.

All of the communal areas are modern and really lovely.

Although on the bus route. The bus stops outside the hotel it is limited to every 30 minutes. Advisable to rent a car

The decor in the room, too many lamps and hanging pictures in strange places next to the tv.

The views were stunning. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The cake selection was amazing.

The menu didn’t particularly change so if you stayed several days you might run out of options Whilst there is a heated pool there isn’t a games room or similar for younger guests

The bathroom looked a little tired and could do with modernisation. We thought the restaurant prices were a little expensive for some of the dishes. No complimentary water in the room, or tissues. The fridge was a little noisy.

Staff very friendly, attentive but not intrusive. Lovely relaxed feel about the hotel. Very clean. Self serve buffet style hot breakfast, fairly good selection of cold alternatives. Cake and dessert in the coffee shop had an amazing and delicious selection. Quiet location (Jerbourg) and cliff path walks on the doorstep. Easy drive to St Peter Port and airport. Good size swimming pool, but we did not use it due to bad weather. Our room, La Joanette, had a good balcony with sea and pool views. The restaurant food was delicious and good portion sizes.
