Mixer taps for the shower difficult to balance the water temperature. Paper cups for a hot drink.

The bedroom & bathroom size was very good. The bed was comfy. There was biscuits in the room which was a bonus. The location is spot on for us visiting relatives who live on Lord Street.

Perfect pit stop for day trips out from Crewe, clean and comfortable. Staff super helpful and extra points for sorting out parking and tasty breakfast!

Restaurant and bar were closed by 9pm on a Friday. The only option for food was the Tesco garage behind.

No socket by the bed for machine to help sleep. Luckily I had an extension lead.

Everything. There was no lock from the inside on my room door, the spindle was there but no lock. I asked to be moved with a room with a lock, but the reception man said that there wasn’t any rooms with locks from the inside. I didn’t feel safe as there were groups of men hanging about. I was a lone woman. Stair carpet worn right through and shabby. There were big chips out of the enamel bath tub. The kettle was filthy and I wouldn’t use it. The carpet was sticky. The curtains and nets had definitely seen better days and were out of shape. The wardrobe door didn’t close properly. The lighting was very poor. The toilet was dirty. If I had a dog, I wouldn’t put it in there. It was late when I got there, i had already paid for it and too late to try to book somewhere else. I am going to try and cancel my next booking as I had already paid for two separate dates, not knowing before hand how bad it was. I felt dirty staying there. It’s a shame, as it looks good from the outside. Terrible experience.

There was nothing to not like on our short stay.

The location was perfect for us not far from family. The room was fantastic meet my husband's needs. Staff very welcoming and were prepared to help with cases. Had disabled parking close to entrance which was great as husband can't walk far.

I couldn't get an early morning phone call, as there was no phone in the room. I left before breakfast as it was a continental one being served after 6:00.

Closeness to the railway station, I'm certified blind and the receptionist guided me to my room on my first time going to my room. The meal I had for my evening meal was very good.

My room was freezing in fact I had to sleep in my clothes to keep warm. The electrics were dodgy and caused my phone charger to short circuit

Did not like having our booking cancelled a few days before our stay. No reason given, though we found out they had received a better contract.

When we arrived there was no water, which a telephone call to make us aware of this before we arrived would have been nice, so we could have showered at home.As we were going out for the evening we had no use of the bathroom facilities toilet or shower. We had to use a bottle of drinking water to wash with which isn't aacceptable! I was also told I would receive a refund which I am still waiting for.
