Sonia let us check our bags in early, she was super lovely and gave us lots of recommendations on what to do. She kept in touch with us and any questions we had she would answer straight away. The house is so lovely decorated and really felt like our own place, we got Ubers to most of the places we visited however a bus stop is just down the road. We can’t wait to come back to Belfast and stay again. Thank you Sonia!

Really low ceilings (hit head several times), tea making facilities and bathroom on separate floors to bedroom.

Clean, lovely decor, quiet. Easy access to get bus to main city. Great little local pub.

Lovely room with a very comfortable bed and lovely hosts. The hosts made my stay very easy and comfortable, arriving promptly to greet me despite my having booked at very short notice. Excellent value for money to stay at this proximity to the centre of Belfast, with excellent access to local bus routes, shops, and takeaways. Breakfast was simple fruits and packaged cakes but great for a little energy to start the day.

Very steep stairs to the loft room - lots of banging heads on way up and down with angle of ceiling and space. Be cautious if like us being 6’ tall. Bumped our heads daily!

I chose this property because it had very high ratings, but I had different expectations based on the reviews and description. - The description was not explicit that the bathroom was the only bathroom in the building and shared with the hosts; it was on a different floor than the guest room - The attic stairwell and guest room have very low ceilings and you will hit your head unless you are extremely diligent (I’m very short so I was okay, but my male partner is an average height and bumped his head a couple times). Definitely do not recommend staying here if you are tall. - The apartment sits on top of a 3-story walk up, so not the best fit if you have a lot of luggage, heavy luggage, or mobility issues - The neighborhood is described as a central Belfast in Booking but it is really East Belfast and not walking distance to downtown. It might be okay to walk during the warmer months if you’re okay with walking 20 - 30 mins, but too cold to do so in the winter. - The apartment is in a residential area and parking is first come/first serve; there is no designated parking spot and you need to feel comfortable parallel parking on very narrow streets - We arrived around 9 pm on a Sunday and there were no restaurants open in the neighborhood, so we had to drive and ate downtown. It would have been helpful if the hosts had given us a heads up about that based on our arrival time. We were only able to find food just in time before the restaurants closed because we had a car. - The room was freezing our first night. We let our hosts know after we couldn’t fall asleep; they were very responsive and brought us a blanket and a space heater; the next day was much better as they made sure we were getting heat out of the radiator
