    Steep stairs to second floor.

Perfect location on a beautiful property. Beautiful room. Comfortable beds. Plenty of parking. Easy walking distance to restaurants and the waterfront.

It was not great all of us being in the same room. The room could have been divided in a way to make a separate room for the kids. The room was very expensive for a one night stay.

I liked the location. Had a great restaurant (Taste of India) nearby and was a good point for Isle of Skye. Appreciated the USB ports.

There was a large dumpster by the entrance to the building, which could've been located in a less conspicuous location. Our room was locked when we arrived just before 5 pm, and nobody answered the main phone number. Luckily we were able to find another number for the onsite staff, who let us in.

Great location for us, as we had a long drive to Aberdeen the next day, and being close to the bridge was a plus. The building and our room was spacious and nice.

The beds were not very comfy, very soft. The staff was physically inexistant and not very very nice while I booked No view The state of the bathroom was .. so so

The cleanliness was very good. The size of the bedroom was very nice!! The location is great The decoration of the room was cute Isolation was good REALLY APPRECIATED the « breakfast » even if there is not the option, with milk, several cereals, chocolate… etc

It is a good stay at a good location, can be improved with some small additions due to no staff

The bathroom door lock was not working and was mentioned to the staff, but not sorted.. As we stayed for 2 days, the stocks in the fridge was not all refilled. The water heating flask was not smelling good and could not get a change as the property had no staff and had to wait till next day to check There is a main building and another building in the back. The common area are all in the main building. The building at the back is secluded and does not have a common dining and is very narrow. With the cold weather and rain, its hard for anyone to come to main building always to get some common space usage. It would be good to have a microwave at least in each room. Some more dishes in the dining room that can be used by the guests

The look and the feel of the house and its architecture. The surroundings of the property is very nice. The accessibility to the property is good. The mini fridge with items is good

Staircase was quite narrow and steep . No staff on site although we did arrive after around 10pm

Booked last minute due to ferry cancellation. Stayed in an annex round back of main building. Took a minute to find it. Was very happy with the family room for myself and three teenage children. It was very spacious with a double and two single beds . Very well stocked mini fridge and plentiful supply of instant oats, tea, coffee and best of all Tunnocks Tea Cakes. Would definitely stay again.

Door lock was manual (key based) and couldn't be locked. I stayed in room-9. No staff were and every communication needed to be done over messaging. Response was delayed.

Wholesome & excellent breakfast. Quiet location.

There seemed to be an issue with the drainage. We were in the annex building and I don't think the plumbing could cope with the extra pressure. Nothing leaked or smelled bad thankfully but the shower water took an age to drain and the toilet system would occasionally back up. Again Nothing leaked unless the shower overflowed but the drainage could definitely do with upgrading.

Room was clean and spacious. The fridge was a good extra and the mini breakfast bar options were a nice touch also. Not the four seasons but incredibly good value for the money and would definitely recommend

The ground floor had a very nice huge reception with lots of light and windows that could have been used as a breakfast room. The offering in the room for breakfast was really minimal.

Nice historical building, right next to the bridge. The room was nice and clean, the bathroom hot and clean. Good communications from the hosts, there was a self check-in which went really smooth.

Only issue was that the king bed had a seam down the middle and the two mattresses did come apart a little but I slept on one side. One of the bedside tables was slanting a little bit and might need repair. It is a little outside of Kyleakin so you do need to plan ahead r.e. dinner and food options

Excellent location for exploring Skye. I was on an organised 3 day tour and it was convenient for pick up and drop off. No hassle to get in - just used the code - quite like the hands-off approach to be honest after a long day. Room was light and big and airy with nice decor (albeit a little tired in places). Simple Breakfast items were provided (cereals, porridge, cereal bars etc). Bathroom was nice with a good powerful shower which was fab after a long day hiking around Skye. Everything was mostly clean Great to have TV with Netflix available!! Really enjoyed my stay and would come again.

Did not enjoy the lighting right outside the window, made the room bright ad day during the evening (it turned off later at night). The bed was quite small for 2 people but comfortable.

Enjoyed the cereals provided, good water pressure, room very cute and clean.

Being in our seventies we are not connected to technology 24/7 and as we had to leave home early for the 8 hour drive to Skye we didn't get the email with arrival instructions. It would be better to send this information the day before departure instead of mid-morning on the day we left. We were in what is referred to as a garden room but the garden is very overgrow and neglected. The room itself was clean and comfy, however apart from a cupboard to hang clothes, there were no drawers or a desk to put things on. Only minor observations but would be very useful. It would also be useful to have a light next to the keypad to input the code for entry to the building. Breakfast cerials provided n the room were varied but (being very picky here) plain yogurt would have been better than strawberry, the smell of it makes me want to throw up! I would probably class this hotel as a posh backpackers. Tips for other travellers We drove all around the island but if time is limited we found the eastern side better. We travelled mid-March and it seems there's not much open till Easter. Not much choice for eating and most places are expensive. We would recommend the Indian restaurant A Taste of India, which is a short walk from the hotel. We found all the 'locals' very friendly and welcoming.
