Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I love the quirky and uniqueness of the hotel. The hotel has a modern Welsh theme which works The gentleman on reception was lovely and very helpful. I asked for a quiet room and it was no problem The breakfast was lovely and high quality

United KingdomGreat space. Great location. Really enjoyed the place. Only problem was there was a buzzing sound which woke us up. Sounded like constant vibrating. I informed the staff and they were good about it. Very attentive and made up for the disturbance. I will be booking with them again next time im in Cardiff. Best location and the decor was fun and the place was just lovely. If the buzzing happens again, ill be sure to let you know. But i dont think it will as they handled it very well.

United KingdomHad an email with discount code for the NCP car park. When we returned to the car park after checkout the code didn't work. The cost of the car park for one day was over £32...this should have been discounted to £17 with the correct code. We had already ended up paying when some other guests arrived in the car park with a correct code!! They had gone back to sort it out.

United KingdomI waited a while to get checked in. They have a lot to tell you. Breakfast was a bit slow, I think they were short staffed. It was, however, worth waiting for.
This is a perfect hotel for a weekend away. Good food, excellent rooms and location is perfect for shopping and nightlife. Overall, it was a superb experience I would definitely return.

From arriving the team were amazing. So friendly, informative, helpful. Breakfast on Sunday was exceptional, not quite as good on Monday due to the number of guests. Overall nothing was too much trouble.
