Dated! We booked a room with a balcony and all the furniture was dirty and weathered. The room was clean but stains on carpet and again just a bit old.

Phone didn't work, coffee machine didn't work, casting to TV didn't work, the noise from the restaurant above was pretty awful - but in the end none of these spoilt our stay because the staff were so lovely and keen to help sort out the issues, some of which they couldn't, but they tried. That made the trip for us. The breakfast we ordered a la carte (eggs benedict and full english). Eggs Benedict absolutely lovely. Full English, which the menu made a big deal out of, naming artisan locally produced sausages and bacon - we know a supermarket sausage when we see one! The £12.95 continental breakfast was just terrible. The only bread available white or brown basic sliced. Three fingers of very hard round the edges cheese and 4 cherry tomatoes offered, a few pastries, stewed coffee...but again, the staff saved the day.

Truly amazing staff, wonderful shower, gorgeous bed, beautiful view, great location. The fact that if you order in food they will provide you with cutlery and condiments from the restaurant.

Very hot! 24th floor, floor to ceiling windows that can’t be opened and air con not working. I think this is every room not just ours. Bed mattress very soft and worn, ie roll into the middle, and decor tired/stained carpets/pain chipped etc. Restaurant not functional.

Spacious room, nice shower products to use, good decorative halls and entrance. Central and easy access to all shops and the arena. Car parking at the metro very close by and discounted through the hotel.

There was an issue with the kitchen of the restaurant which meant they weren’t able to serve breakfast as usual. It was awful but appreciate their effort for trying to pull off a hot breakfast! 😂

Lovely, comfortable room. Cosy decor and great view Bed was semi-comfy but not great if you don’t like a soft mattress! Loved the Elemis toiletries and shower pressure Room is well stocked with an ironing board, fridge and even robes and slippers

The bathroom isn’t very nice and needs an update. Would prefer a bath as well a shower but that’s not essential. I was given a voucher for a drink from the rooftop bar because of a mistake at check in. When I tried to use this to order a drink whilst I was eating in the restaurant I was made to leave my food to go cold and get my own drink by the restaurant manager. So, not really a hotel problem but better communication with the restaurant maybe? The waiter who served me was lovely, it was the manager who told him he couldn’t get my drink.

Cool location, very comfortable bed and spacious room. Staff on reception when I checked in was very lovely and helpful. Good value. Lovely breakfast.

Room service was incomplete, bed was not fully remade and surfaces were not cleared down etc. The restaurant was shut and there was no hot breakfast available on Sunday morning.

The bedrooms were soooo hot. We were there with a wedding party and everyone’s room was uncomfortably hot, even with air con. Decor is pretty dated and there are signs of wear and tear everywhere. Wood laminate had peeled off our bed, stains all over the carpet, paint peeled off ceiling etc.

It was way too hot, and the aircon didn’t work properly. This was in spring so I can’t imagine the temperature in the summer. One room had a foul smell, like drains.

The location is great, the views from the rooms are incredible and the styling is good

bathroom was OK, you need to hold the removalabe shower head in your hand as when it's on the wall its in a fixed position shooting the water horizontal at you When you look closer the room could do with TLC

Expected more from the reputation The Cube has. Check in was laboured with only 2 staff Room was clean but very worn Bathroom was also very worn Kingsize bed was 2 singles pushed together with a topper on. You could feel they were singles and moved apart easily

The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work .The room did get a little hot at one point as the thermostat didn’t go below 18 . But none of which ruined our stay just minor faults

Stayed for our anniversary and we were given a free upgrade which was great . Views were amazing both in the room and at breakfast upstairs at marco piers .great location and not as busy as we expected .lifts were a little slow at busy times but that’s to be expected . Overall great experience.
