Not stocked up very well, lack of cleaning supplies ( no antibacterial spray or wipes etc). Couldn't even wipe the dirty table in the garden to sit outside.

Lovely big house with lots of space. Good location, short walk from the shops and the train station. Good communication with people renting it out.

The whole house was freezing cold, no welcome pack or any guide for restaurants/pubs to eat out, no instructions for use of heating system, Sharon was really helpful by text and managed to get it sorted, however we had to put it on high and keep it high with it being a very large house and so cold from the start, then I received a text from DAVE saying if we didn’t turn the heating down then he would charge us for it. I thought that was diabolical and intimidating, we took the property on heating included and didn’t expect a rude message like that

Everything was as described, it was good value for money, and the location was very good. The pool room is a very good addition. Everything was to a modern standard.

The ground floor is an open plan lounge/diner/kitchen and is double aspect with residential streets to the front and rear of the property, however neither windows had any blinds or curtains to close at night so we did feel a bit exposed on an evening. Perhaps the house is a work in progress and blinds will be added at some point.

The property is only a few minutes walk from Ilkley town centre and is very well presented. The furnishings are lovely and we all found the beds to be very comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, pans, crockery, glasses etc. The younger adults enjoyed playing pool, it was a bit of a challenge as the pool table is located in the basement and there wasn’t much space around the table for cues when playing. I’ve seen on previous reviews about there being no bannisters on the stairways, I can confirm all the stairs now have bannisters.

We couldn't access live TV on the television which wasn't good. The front door lock needs some WD40. It was very stiff. No banister on stairs. No blinds in living area.

This isn’t a criticism but would have been useful to know before I booked - the lack of handrails on any of the the stair cases and no ground floor toilet make it less suitable for older people or anyone with mobility issues. I may have missed it, but could be useful to suggest this in the info.

It was clean and everything worked, for large groups/families it would be ideal.

Not much outside space but location is excellent so plenty of places to enjoy outside.

Beware the key box - Use two hands.

Great Location for Ilkley and to have as a base for travelling further afield. Everything was very clean and freshly decorated and thoughtfully appointed throughout. Thank you for the tea and coffee and the lovely fresh milk in the fridge on our arrival.

The comfort Eight in the party ( can actually take 10) but only 5 comfortable chairs & a bean bag No curtains or blinds at the lounge or kitchen windows. overlooked at both sides so felt very exposed when the lights started fading. Beds were all very uncomfortable ( very spongy)
