The Nest was very comfortable and peaceful. The pub at the end of the lane had delicious food and very convenient for evening meals. The property had everything we needed.

There was nothing we did not like, but we have two recommendations. 1. the floor can be a little cold so bring some thick socks or slippers. 2. relates to access. If you have a small car, you’ll be fine, but if your car is on the larger side, it is best to reverse into the driveway.

Lovely little apartment in a very quiet location. Immaculately clean and tidy and great privacy and even had its own little garden. Everything in the apartment is good quality and the bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. I do not think I have ever slept so well in a new bed. The apartment has absolutely everything you could need, whether staying for one night or one week - fully equipped kitchen (with all utensils you could need, milk, butter, jams, filtered water, etc. and even had its own washing machine), toiletries in the bathroom, a TV where you can sign into your own subscription services, throws and blankets to stay warm on a cold night. The owner Serena was very helpful with great communication ahead of time and she met us at arrival and again at checkout but otherwise left us to ourselves. The kitchen has everything so if you want to cook, you can. However if you prefer to eat out, the Coach and Horses pub is a 2min walk away and does very good food. Nutley is a short drive away and there are a few places to eat there or plenty of other places within easy reach. If you want to walk and enjoy the countryside, there are plenty of walks nearby and maps available in the flat to help you navigate the surrounding areas. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend.

Exactly what it says - this property is such a find! Surrounded by woodlands, peaceful, tranquil and just so relaxing and just the prefect environment - just what we needed!! Abundance of beauty products, kitchen, even milk and brioche. Host Serena was lovely and very friendly. Would definitely return if needed….and will recommend to friends and family!

A little late on the review, but I don't want to miss out the opportunity to review on how nice my trip to this location was. It's actually called the Nest and it felt rightly so. I was there for a week of training in Burgess Hill. It all started before arriving there, when Serena (the lovely host) sent me a link to where the location was, because without it, it would've been a bit of a challenge to get there. So, the Navigation link was very comfortable for me. Thank you Serena! Upon arrival, I was greeted by the host and she took me to the apartment to explain how everything works. First impression is that it looks so comfortable, clean, cozy and no funny odors or whatsoever. Immediately I felt at home. You can see that Serena's background of being an interior designer really pays off when seeing the place. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen was stocked!! (Bread, butter, jams, coffee, tea, etc...etc...) All was there! The bathroom is so clean and nice and having a sofa to relax after a long day of work is satisfying. Of course there's a table too when I had to get back to work. While working, I’ve enjoyed the fastest WiFi speed I’ve ever had away from home! All in all, I felt lucky to have found the Nest. I can imagine bringing my family here for a vacation too. The place is suitable for two adults with a small child. But for couples, this is excellent! The surrounding is beautiful. Hayward Heath is a few miles away if you want to find many different restaurants or cafe's. So, everything is pretty much within comfortable reach to make the stay enjoyable. Hope to come back in the future!

Nothing to fault.

Serena and Michael were both very friendly, and The Nest was very comfortable. The milk and other essentials provided for our arrival were a lovely touch, the bathroom was spotlessly clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was plenty of space for us to stay for three nights with our 5 year old sleeping on the sofa bed. The location was perfect for our planned excursions to the Bluebell Railway and Wakehurst. We would definitely stay here again when visiting this part of the country. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Spent a lovely couple of nights here at the end of March. Serena was the perfect host ensuring we had everything we needed, including a well stocked kitchen. The apartment was great and exactly as described. Lovely to have a local pub just a couple of minutes up the road. Would most definitely recommend.

Really comfortable stay for the second time. Good facilities - very comfortable beds, great bathroom and really well stocked kitchen. Perfect for a home from home experience in a good location. Nearby pub, the Coach & Horses, is also good. Serena is a great host and really helpful.

The price was a bit expensive for 1 night especially s check in was 3pm and check out was 11am.

The interior was stylish with beautiful bedding, towels and great kitchen facilities. Serena even provided tea, coffee and other useful kitchen staples. The view was stunning and we found a few amazing walks right on our doorstep. Will definitely be back.

You need to be aware that there is one stair to get up to the appartment and in the appartment there is another stair down to the kitchen again. This did not bother us, but should be considered by disabled or elderly people.

The newly arranged appartment is very cozy and well equiped. You have a good privacy, but the very friendly host is available when needed.

Delightful little spot of luxury in the middle of beautiful English countryside. Serena met us to show us around and had so carefully and thoughtfully laid things out for our 2yr old daughter. Pre-arrival communication was clear and efficient. The bathroom and kitchen facilities were excellent and there were additional thoughtful touches that were the icing on the cake, like milk, coffee and cereals

Wonderful well equipped and tranquil place to stay in a lovely location. Very friendly, thoughtful and helpful host. Local walks (helpful maps in property) and great pub with good food only minutes away on foot. Nice to have some food basics provided too. Lots of interesting places, houses and gardens to visit nearby. Lovely home away for home. I hope to return!

The driveway is steep so it took practice and confidence with the car.

Everything was super clean and nicely designed. There were basics in the kitchen - and a small private garden which was great on a hot weekend. The decor was elegant and matched the pictures, and the area really is idyllic - quiet country lane miles from the hustle and bustle.

There was nothing I didn't like

I loved everything about staying here. The interior design was spectacular and the comfort was divine. There was absolutely everything we needed from cooking utensils to iron and of the highest quality. Probably one of the best places I have stayed. The children loved the little winnie the pooh inspired garden. Perfect in every way.
