Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Room was clean and beds very comfortable. Loved the scent of the toiletries provided (soap, shampoo and body wash). Very quiet considering the location.

United KingdomExcellent value for money when you pay for room and breakfast, no other similar hotels offer this value…and we checked. Room was small but extremely comfortable, air con was so good as it was warm. Breakfast tho was superb, lots of choices from hot fry up to the meats, cheeses, fruit and pastries. It’s such a good base even for travelling to Edinburgh. Rail station 5 min walk. Room also had iron, board and hair dryer. Bar on the ground floor was particularly nice although not that cheap for a beer or gin. Free pool made up for it a little 😊

There was make up stains on the bathroom door, the carpet and couch, along with a few other things on the carpet that hadn't been hoovered. One other point was that I had the 'do not disturb' sign on the door, and housekeeping still knocked the door and tried to come in.
Excellent customer service, location, and value for money. Relaxing atmosphere too. Very comfortable bed and pillows and quiet at night despite being in the city.
