Lisa was really friendly and helpful. The accommodation met all our needs and was really comfy. Having sky tv and netflix was a bonus. Dark skies allowed for a little star gazing, be a lovely place to stay in the summer and sit outside.

Lovely quiet location, excellent facilities. The host was very friendly and helpful. Great location close to Exeter but far enough that we didn’t feel like we were in the city.

Nothing except there were perfumed plug-ins and lots of air fresheners, reeds etc which I am allergic to. Natural products might be better eg. Dried lavender / rose petals-

We liked the garden - what a blissful peaceful retreat. Also the lightness of this annexe building, the beautiful country setting and friendly owner. Easy to live in and super comfy bed and bedding. Lots of wildlife to be seen outside - greenfinch, woodpecker baby rabbits, pheasants it was delightful.

The most perfect stay in a gorgeous property!! Travelled down for a long weekend from Scotland and it was so relaxing! Perfect location, peaceful with a large garden and a close drive to Exeter. We’ll definitely be staying again! 10/10

Beautiful surroundings. Clean, tidy and well equipped. Hosts friendly and helpful. Beds comfortable. Garden was vast and with lovely private seating. Good parking. Lovely rural spot.

The location was spectacular, feels like the middle of nowhere but easy to access shops, Exeter and the wider area. Beautiful part of the country. All the home comforts are there. Sky, Nesresso machine etc and the most lovely hosts. The garden is stunning!

Everything was perfect , Lisa , the host, had thought of everything you need for a comfortable stay . The rooms are all immaculately clean , beds are lovely and comfy and location fantastic . We will certainly return .

Awww Wow what an amazing stay in this absolutely beautiful house, prefect for a family get away in a amazing location. If its peace and quiet you what, this is it. The host Lisa and Steve were so friendly and even went out of their way to collect us at a meeting point and we following them back to the cottage.. (there was a road closure and sat Nav could not find another route) Host were full of great information on the best places to visit and see. the house was great for myself, hubby and 2 children. We packed in a lot of travelling and seeing Devon in the 6 days we were there and it was great every evening to come back to the cottage and feel like we were back at home.

Nothing could have been better!

A wonderful, spacious cottage surrounded by fields and a huge back garden which the kids much enjoyed. The cottage was very well equipped, with excellent comfortable space and attractive views onto the surrounding fields. Out in the countryside, yet only ten minutes from Exeter and no great distance from many of the other beautiful areas of Devon. This was truly a great find and an outstanding home from home.

Wonderful place with great hosts. Easy communication, excellent check-in, very clean, well- equipped. Out in the countryside, but only 10 minutes away from city centre. Shopping 5 minutes away. Could not be any better! Definitely recommend and we will try to come back for sure!!!

Idyllic rural setting ensured a good night's sleep. The house is very well kitted out and is well presented. Exeter is just a ten minute drive away through typical Devonshire lanes. Lisa, Coco and Pepsi made us feel very welcome. We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone wishing for a restful retreat with everything close to hand.

We were delighted with our stay at Hunters Lodge. Lisa greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome throughout the stay - there were even some delicious cream teas waiting for us! The accommodation is set up beautifully and feels very homely. It was in the perfect location for us as we were attending a wedding near Cullompton, but also was a short drive from local amenities. We would love to visit again if we are ever in that area of Devon.
