No complaints really. We were in a room at the back…with no view. But then we didn’t pay for one either. I felt the accomodation was expensive…but that may be because of the location.

The location was breathtaking as was the walking. You really could not get a better position. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent.

I didnt realize that breakfast wasnt included, and we felt £18 each was too much, as we only wanted fruit and toast. It would have been good to offer a light breakfast option at a lower cost, as we paid £18 each for very little. The prices for dinner were also high, considering it was served in a cafe style restaurant with no tablecloths or fabric napkins. The surroundings didnt feel top end, but the prices were. The food bill ended up doubling the price of our stay more or less, but there were no other options within easy walking distance

The hotel had been recently refurbished and our room and bathroom were absolutely beautiful. The staff were lovely. The hotel had wonderful location overlooking the sea.

Room was a bit dated but the hotel is going through a refurbishment.

Location was superb for a walking vacation with magnificent views. Staff very good and food was excellent.

The only slight criticism is that the rooms needed a little tlc.

The staff were lovely, location amazing, we could have sat in the cosy room all day! Great breakfast and cocktails too!

I went for fishing off the shore. It is very windy in December! Which I should have checked but just wanted to get out of London. Nothing to do with the hotel! Just be weary, it is VERY windy that time of year so don’t plan on fishing anywhere off the shore.

While our room was perfectly clean, it has perhaps seen better days.

We loved our stay at Housel Bay Hotel. The hotel has an incredible view and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities are very nice with a beautiful breakfast room and a comfy lounge and a bar. The breakfast and the hotel restaurant was amazing. The hotel is perfectly located for nice walks along the costal path. Can highly recommend and will come again one day!

The plumbing is a little noisy.

The views were stunning, the staff were friendly but not overbearing, the breakfast, which was included in the price was extremely high quality and the restaurant food was delicious.

A spa element for after those long walks

Sitting in the garden, going for a coastal walk, not far to the Lizard point. Fantastic location, breakfast was really good, with spectacular views to add.

Miss matched furniture in the room, and very little clothing storage, , although we did read after the hotel is updating rooms at this time.

Noise from the corridor early in the morning, a lot of slamming doors.

Location overlooking the the cove was perfect. Staff were friendly and attentive. Room was comfortable.
