The sofa bed wasn’t working properly but we managed to use it

The service of the staff, we asked for supplying the toilet paper in reception, however, we didn’t receive any during our three-day stay in the property.

The accommodation is really nice, with two bedrooms, one with double bed, another with twin beds. The place is in a quiet area, a wonderful place for leisure. The property also offers hot spa with lighting, and kitchen tools for people who enjoy cooking. The experience living in this property is enjoyable and relaxing. The only problem is the location, the property locates in a relatively remote area from the city central, so it’s better to visit with a car.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable but the other beds were great. Would be helpful if there was an on-site shop as is quite a remote location.

Really good value for money, lovely settling in the countryside and the staff at JJs were so lovely (as was the food!)

No instructions for the kitchen appliances(the oven) T.V signal could have been better it was jumping a bit.

Really nice lodge with a hot tub good location for walks with the dog and not fare away from York, the restaurant food on the holiday park was really good

Chair on patio broke, think it was faulty as when I sat on it it was ok then I leant to the table and it broke, bruised my arm. Also stated was a hair dryer provided but there wasn’t, and the office don’t have spares.

The quietness of the site, and not too cramped together like a lot of other sites!

There was nothing to not like really. Only thing is maybe we would look for a 3 bedroom next time so we wouldn't have to put the sofa bed out.

Beautiful Lodge in a quiet location. Ideal for a family break. The hot was fab! The kids loved it. Would definitely visit again.

Loved everything about the Lodge. Dog friendly, beds were comfortable, very homely, loved the hottub. The lodge was very clean and we had an amazing weekend here.

There was a slight smell of "dog" in the bedrooms.

Lovely lodge which was very clean, everything is like brand new and hot tub was clean to. Enjoyed are stay and would definitely rebook and recommend to anyone. Well maintained site with lovely staff.

It wasn’t clean there was hair in the shower, bird poo on the floor at the french doors and crisps all over the floor. I told staff and received an apology but no one came back to clean. Bit unsettling with covid to be honest that it wasn’t deep cleaned. Every door squeaked incredibly loudly too waking up everyone!

The lodge looked fresh and nicely decorated. The park was very peaceful.

The cabin appeared to have had just a glimpse over whilst cleaning. There was rubbish behind the tv, the spare duvet and pillow were both saturated in vomit from previous guests. Booking.com has a misleading advert describing beds for 3 bedrooms not a pull out sofa bed with damaged springs suitable for 2 children not 2 adults. The decking was filthy as was the hot tub with body hairs and scumjn the water meaning we couldn't use it until our last day. The staff answering our calls for complaints didn't care at all. However the cleaning manager was lovely, as was the guy who sorted the hot tub and another guy who brought us all clean linen and bedding.

The overall appearance of the lodge was lovely and was very spacious. The idea of the hot tub was great.

Gas oven - but only because we didnt understand it was a gas oven until around 30 minutes after and realised our food was still frozen solid, maybe a small note stating its gas would be great. Small things like things being fitted poorly, for instance the toilet roll holder kept falling off the wall, along with the hot tub screens not being in great condition in terms of the handles of them being broken etc. Taps are somewhat stiff so kept pulling them too far up and water going everywhere. We were given the wrong wifi password while at the reception, and got no response via booking.com. Tried to phone the bar on site to order food - only for the phone to be answered, someone laugh and then hang up on us. We were informed only at reception about the fact there was a huge hole in one of the bedroom doors, was a bit of an eye sore. Location wasnt great in terms of taxis, as no taxis would come to the area to pick us up.

We liked the style of the lodge and all decor inside. Great sized hot tub and very clean, loved the idea of the screens around the hot tub to give some privacy. All facilities needed appeared to be available. Very spacious and im sure could fit 6 people comfortably.

The fact that we got told that somebody be in contact on Monday to at least apologise for our terrible experience. Now it's 10 days later and still nobody been in contact. Tried contacting them but got messaging service which I left message and still no reply 5 days later. Wouldn't recommend to anyone this place after how we were treat

Would've been nice place if we had electric that didn't keep going off from when we landed til we had to go home early because we couldn't use hot tub tv wifi even lights or anything else that's electric.

Unfortunately the hot tub seemed dirty and after a while a brown substance started coming from a filter, there were holes in the floor and what looked like punch marks through the door inside completely through the door this was very of putting especially when staying with small children. I did email about the issue but unfortunately didn’t get a reply.

The hot tub was obviously lovely the lodge was nice spacious in a nice area lovely and quiet the views were nice and the restaurant was lovely the staff in the restaurant also very nice.
