How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The elevator was a little smaller than what I am used to, and the thick carpet in the corridors made it a somewhat difficult to pull wheeled luggage.
The complimentary item in the room were more than I expected, which included a bath robe and slippers. Pick up and drop off to Heathrow terminal 3 using the airport hotel hopper shuttle bus was also very convenient for travelers.

There was lots to choose from at the breakfast buffet - from continental to cooked, Everything was well appointed & the staff are really friendly. The Hotel is perfect from travelling to and from LHR (closest to T2) & beyond to major motorways.

Location is good. We have stayed at Heathrow Leonardo 4 times before and like it. The bar and restaurant are good. It offers runway view rooms which we like.

Nice facilities, very clean, spacious room and bathroom, nice to have tea, coffee & kettle in room as well as an iron and ironing board the bed was comfortable, staff were friendly and professional, location is great close to the airport, hotel also offers shuttle service at a reasonable price or the hop on hop off bus is very good also, it was easy & very quick check in & check out, would stay again 😊

The indifferent catering in the Restaurant. Arrived on Sunday , May 5 from Sicily. Ventured into the Restaurant for Dinner approx. 6:45 that night. Provided with an excellent meal which we enjoyed as expected. Arrived back at the LEONARDO on Wed. 15th May. So we decided to have Dinner at the Leonardo Restaurant before traveling to Singapore the next morning. We ordered precisely the same meal as we enjoyed on the night of May 5th. This was a shocker ! How could the same Menu item be tasteless CRAP. We left early on Thursday morning as we did not want to eat any other tasteless crap. Thankyou !

Family rooms for 2 adults + 2 kids are effectively only for 3 - and set up as such with 3 towels and 3 sets of pillows on your arrival. The second bed is too small for anything other than 2 small children to occupy while the main bed is gigantic. Unfortunately our purposes would have been better served with two reasonable size beds as in some other chains.

All good, with the exception of the lift, on one occasion the lift door didn’t close fully and I thought I might have been stuck in there. However I reopened it and it closed and operated normally.
Great location, very friendly Staff, well equipped and comfortable room and an excellent breakfast. Although located very close to the airport and main road, the room was totally noise free and dead quiet.

Room service food was not great. Hotel could provide better information on times and location of buses that drop people off at various hotels.
It was conveniently located to Heathrow airport as we had to catch a flight the next day!

Transportation from the airport was not as easy as I had understood. We arrived early evening and had to wait over 40 minutes for a bus that was the last one of the day at 6:30 pm. If we had been any later we would have had to take a much more expensive, time consuming option. Dinner - the chicken wings were mostly fat and not really edible. The mattress was squeaking which disturbs sleep.
Room was attractive, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast very nice - excellent variety. The hotel is very close to the airport was importatn for our ongoing trip.
