Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Close to the airport, nice and pleasant hotel with great variety of food. Amazing breakfast. Rooms are a good size, it can be a little small for a family of 3. Bathroom is nice and clean, shower is really good. Clean sheets and comfortable beds and pillows.

AustraliaFront of house staff were not engaging. I spent 5 minutes waiting at reception and was totally ignored. Bar manager was condescending to my wife when she raised concern over a piccolo of wine that tasted very strange. As soon as I came over, he changed his tone. Had a very stilted questioning from a waiter. If felt as though he had been told to engage customers, but was very nervous and blurted out about 10 questions before walking off.
Clean and comfortable executive room. Breakfast bar was very good.

United KingdomWe are a married couple and expected a double room. We got two single beds.. They would not give us a receipt. They didn't seem to like that we used Booking.com as they wouldn't find us another room and treated us as second party.
We liked the amenities, the restaurant, the excellent breakfast, and proximity to airport. Getting to our terminal was very easy in a taxi.

United StatesThe hair dryer wasn’t working although staff wouldn’t necessarily know this unless a guest brought it to their attention
Room was clean and very nice. Staff were very accommodating and knowledgable! I ordered in room service twice and food was hot and came within half a hour both times. Breakfast was great! Full English breakfast available as well as continental breakfast if you wanted something lighter. Loved the coffee machines 😁

United StatesThe WiFi in the room was not good. Transportation costs to and from were high, making its location less positive.
The staff were excellent, both well-trained in their responsibilities and kind. Breakfast was plentiful and decent; the bed was comfortable (aside from the pillows) and the location was useful.

United KingdomNothing to add here - hotel in a good location doing its job well.
Good location for easy access to both T5 and T2/3 using TfL buses. Long stay parking a short walk away. Rooms were as expected, clean and quiet. Good shower pressure too. Ate in the restaurant space in the atrium of the hotel, good menu selection and quick service. Bar area relaxing albeit a tad pricey.

AustraliaI found the relatively (and odd) big step up to the "walk-in" shower challenging and slippery getting out with no handhold, but it would be okay for most people. So not a complaint, just an observation. My deep dislike did not relate to the hotel but to the third-party Hoppa bus to get there, which is truly awful. It has space for luggage and reasonable seating and runs on time. One passenger grumbled to me about the complicated online payment, but paying with a credit card on the bus is easy. However, the service is only hourly, and there is nowhere warm to wait or any seating, which does not sound like a big deal unless you've just missed a bus, the temperature is freezing, and the wind is whipping around the bus station. On the return to the airport, I had to hang on for dear life as the driver threw it around curves (and I was sitting, not standing). Unfortunately, it would make me think twice about this hotel (or any other outside of the airport), despite the hotel meeting all my needs. Taxis are more expensive, but perhaps worth the cost of staying at this hotel.
The room was clean and comfortable and met all my needs for an overnight stay before my flight to Australia. The bed was very comfortable, with great pillows. I had an evening meal (sea bass) in the restaurant, which was simply fabulous. Jamie Oliver could not have done better. The hot breakfast was hot (often not at other hotels) - a nice touch being the warmed plates. I liked the real bread, too, rather than the packaged sliced stuff. I loved the beautifully themed central atrium where the restaurant and bar are located. Staff are friendly throughout the hotel and customer-oriented (another feature often not so uniformly present).

FinlandThe location was quite close to the airport which was the main factor for choosing this hotel. The room was good and 4 persons(family) could sleep there without any problems. The breakfast was great and included in the price. Was a perfect choice to get to the airport in the morning
