Bit stingy, like charging £7 a day for their own car park, I would understand if it was a central location but it’s not. No complimentary bottled water or biscuits in the room, only two sachets of sugar. Breakfast £18 per person, should be half that price

Nice and modern throughout and staff friendly and attentive

Bigger beds, beds were also uncomfortable compared to other hotels like premier inn. Our room was on the lower floor, behind reception so we heard what we think was the boiler all night.

Location was perfect for us. Facilities were amazing. Staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough. Especially the gentlemen on the front desk. Breakfast was really good quality food. They had different milk options and accommodated allergies

The TV in the room kept losing signal frequently, which made it impossible to watch. The breakfast was extremely overpriced and of poor quality/quantity. We spent £20 for a roll with a little bit of bacon and a small piece of toast with avocado and one egg.

The bed was very comfortable with good black-out curtains. The view from our room was nice. There was a good Health Club with a good variety of amenities, including a gym.

Great stop near to Harry Potter studios. Recommended for families.

We didn't love the mattress on the double bed and suffered 'roll together' even though neither of us are large or heavy. The children hated the sofa bed, which had very prominent springs! A second duvet had been placed on top of it as padding, but that did not stay in place well with 2 wriggly youngsters on it. We were not told about the service charge in the restaurant - and then unknowingly tipped cash on top. Service was friendly, though we never got our second drinks and the latte brought was vile! (Wrong button pressed on the machine I think as it was undrinkable yet the morning coffee we served ourselves was better. ) We ended up tipping them twice and it was a lot on top of the bill!

Very friendly staff, clean room, good shower and nice toiletries - the refillable bottles were of good quality for handwash, shampoo and shower gel. The restaurant and food choices were good. The pool and leisure facilities were included and we enjoyed using them. There was plenty of parking - at a £7 charge but I didn't mind that.

Sofa beds were very uncomfortable resulting in a lack of sleep.. Food in the restaurant was poor quality and over priced.. Corn on the cob was served cold, steak was tough and chewy, fish was poor quality and batter hard. However the waitresses were helpful

Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly with accommodating travel with an infant.

The window didn’t fully close in room 70. Quite noisy. Could hear road noise and other guests. There was a coach trip of young people so a lot of running and knocking noise from the corridor.

Easy access from M1. Nice bar area with variety of seating options. Clean and tidy hotel.

The pool and spa facilities were not clean need to be updated. We had to book a slot to use the pool. It was over crowded ( maybe as was Easter holiday) water in pool was murky and I wasn't comfortable swimming with my daughter.

The hotel was modern and food in bar / lounge was of a high standard. Bedrooms clean and comfortable. As we're the bathrooms. Good for a short stay or business trip. We were there for Harry Potter Studios and the staff were very friendly and engaging with my daughter. Apart from the pool a seamless stay!

The pull out sofa bed was really uncomfy so maybe an extra blanket to cushion it? That’s only a really minor point though - our stay was excellent

All the staff we met were super friendly. The food in the restaurant was fab - both for dinner and breakfast. The kids loved the pool.

Charge for car park - although it was discounted by 50% to £7.50 - not sure if they do this all week. I visited on a Friday night.

Convenient location from the M1/M25; onsite parking; availability of rooms; free use of gym/swimming pool/steam room/sauna, comfortable bed, walk-in shower, tv/information system; full-size desk plus separate chair/easy table for working or eating.

Food could be better quality for price. It was more no steak and ale pie and dried peas and carrots very uninteresting. Unfortunately lumpy pillows gave me neck ache but Monday morning new pillows were being put in rooms, just unlucky.

Use of the pool us limited to one 1 hr session per day. Hotel emailed my details to a 3rd party, then reception denied sending out an email and that they didn't even have contact details on the booking, when we checked in, the other person's email was there. Reception are less than honest, and should be treated with caution.

Hotel was nice and convenient for our trip. Onsite pool was good as were the facilities.

When we arrived the hotel stated that they had not been notified, by Booking.Com, that my children were included. However the hotel responded well when shown the booking details.

The breakfast had plenty of choice and the location was great.
