Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe restaurant couldn't cope/seemed under staffed. We kept getting told to order later as the kitchen was too busy however observed the bar took orders from other people who went up asking for food then when we asked again told our group they were too busy again to take our order and try again later. 5 mins before the food was due to close I had to insist they take our order otherwise we would end up with no food. After our order was taken the food arrived promptly and was great.
Staff are friendly. Reception staff excellent, attentive and helpful.

United KingdomTrying to find it was a nightmare, my satnav put me in to a housing estate which I drove around for 30 minutes then called the hotel and after speaking to several people I was eventually given instructions.
The hotel was spotless with good facilities.

United KingdomUpon arrival, the receptionist was not especially friendly. It made me feel that I was being inconvenient in checking in! For the evening meal, I had to order and pay via this device placed on the table instead of with a Real Human Being. This made the whole experience very impersonal, as the only interaction with a Real Human Being was when the food was brought to the table. I was not even asked whether everything was OK a few minutes later. I was especially offended therefore when 10% "service charge" was automatically added to the bill, as this is not normal or acceptable for such impersonal service.
The room was quiet, but there was a faulty air conditioner / heater unit that automatically started up at 7:00am each morning, making sound like heavy raining on a tin roof. This was a bit disturbing and it woke me up. I did report it to reception, so I can only hope that this was rectified ready for the next guest to use that room. The room was at the end of a corridor, meaning no footfall of other guests passing by so was very quiet in that respect.

I hope the reception lady could be more helpful when we asked for more resources, though I guess she may suspect we have more ppl to stay, while it's not the case. the phone in the room was not working. the decoration of the room and corridors were a bit old/worn out.
The lady we met in the morning in reception was nice and helpful. easy to get free parking of car registration.

United KingdomNothing. This hotel is great value. This is not a stately home with a long rolling drive - it's a functional 70's style hotel. Pretty cool in it's architectural features if you like this type of style.
We had a quick overnight stay. The hotel or some parts of the hotel have had a relatively recent refurb, so common areas looked fresh, tidy and modern. The staff were really helpful - I spoke to them before my stay on the phone and also during my stay in person and everyone was really welcoming and helpful. Dog friendly. Lots of grounds around the hotel to walk around with the dog in the middle of the night. Breakfast was superb and fresh and everything was there that we needed. Great value. Sandiacre is also a nice place to stop off if you are on a long journey and fancy a mooch about. We would definitely return again and top marks to the staff for making this hotel a great place to stay.

United KingdomThe food and drink was quite pricey, we found a pub about 5 mins away with a reasonably priced menu and drinks. The room was a distance away from the main reception and we had to trek up and down the stairs to get anywhere. The room could've been cleaner, the windows were difficult to open and the bathroom needed a freshen up.
Great location just off the roundabout, there was a big car park with plenty of parking, the lobby and reception area were very clean and airy and the bar area had plenty of seating. Staff were lovely and welcoming and very accomodating, we had breakfast there and it was really good. Room was a nice size. We would stay here again.
