Distance of room from facilities and toilet roll are only negative issued. Toilet paper lets the lovely bathroom as it's cheap quality.

The room was very comfortable and bathroom lovely. I had asked when booking to have a room near the lift but was given Room 137 which is quite a walk to Omnia and Reception area. But my husband had unpacked whilst l was sitting in reception area and I couldn't then bear another walk to an alternative room. I have torn ligaments in left knee and cannot put any weight on left leg.

The room shampoo pump was left broken, no conditioner. Someone’s clothes hanger left on the floor, dirty handprint on bathroom mirror.

I do love this hotel but the quality has gone down since 2021.

Apart from the chips which were delicious, the rest of the food lets the property down unfortunately.

The bed was very firm. The standing heater in the room made the air very dry. There is no separate switch for the side lamps so all the room lights come on when one wishes to read before bed. The evening receptionist was very mechanical and not very warm. No greeting on arrival. Told me the longer route to my room. I later found a more direct route. The corridor markings are confusing.

Quiet location with easy access to the motorway. I wish I had been able to stay longer to try out the facilities. Morning receptionist was warm and friendly.

Pillows were very soft so didn’t have a good nights sleep. There was lots of noise outside our window. Sounded like a generator and was going off for most of the night. the jacuzzi wasn’t working which was a shame

When we arrived it was a warm welcome and cookies given.( the only good part ) for just 10mins . Nothing more !! When asked very any questions the staff wasn't as much happy to give the answers or help ...anything you would ask for they come up with health and safety..but for that they also need to chk the condition of thier rooms when they go on all about health and safety..as we booked our stay for 2 nights with air cons not functioning and a child with us (2yrs) they provided 2 oil heaters in the room which can really be very harmful for the child especially when they run around in the room. The pool was out of order could not even enjoy with my child as she loves playing in the pool one of the main reasons why the hotel was booked so we could spend some great time. Ohh by the way for the breakfast there was a lady staff who can also lose her temper ..lol I don't want to get any further into this cz there is no point at all. I would really say if anyone wants to opt at other options around the area please do so even of its £50 extra go for it . Thought it would be a great time but was very disappointed.

Room 310 was far too dark. No bedside lights. One corner light and 1desk light insufficient for the size of room. Bathroom well lit and room entrance well lit.

I was very disappointed to arrive after a long drive from the Lake District to be told restricted hours of opening for the pool. I had particularly timed my arrival to enable me to have a swim and relax just to be told the spa had closed early. Also the bar /restaurant had a restricted menu. I choose the hotel due to spa facilities.
