The only negative thing I can say is that the shop and cafe are currently closed.

It’s lakeside location was amazing. It was warm and cosy inside and everything you could need was supplied.

We liked everything the only downside was the shop on site was closed as they where recruiting a new member of the team. Although we took enough food to last us for longer then we needed and we both got welcome packs even Lola so that was a bonus.

I enjoyed our four night holiday in my dog friendly Cabin on the Lake side with my 1 year old puppy Lola. We both enjoyed our morning and early evening walks around the site. The weather was great which was a plus for a relaxing day sat out on our decking. Our day trip to Bowness on Windermere by bus was superb, the bus is available to catch at the entrance to the site and only cost £1.70 a great price. Timetable are available at the Reception and the Reception team and the on site gardener Liam where very helpful with answering all my queries and questions.

12ish emails In two days to fill in forms and pay for our dog... why isn't there an option when booking to pay this upfront. Also when we arrived we didn't have the required email with the codes to access site to know where we were staying because we didnt fill the form in. You should be able to get all the information you need from booking.com and not spam us to fill forms in and pay fees.

Internet connection is very poor.

The house was very clean, there was a fireplace inside, lots of channels on TV, and a nice welcome with a glass of wine. A very nice patio next to the house where you can sit and drink coffee or eat. Very nice surroundings of the entire facility, I highly recommend it. Joanna.

Very clean apartment overlooking Windermere lake. We had beautiful views from the balcony with a bistro set to have breakfast in the morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful which made our stay even better. We had a smooth check-in/out and were only a stones throw from reception if we had any questions or needed taxis, etc. Location was brilliant too - only 10 minutes from Bowness pier and town with lots of lovely little shops and restaurants. Hylands restaurant (the beef rib) in particular was amazing. Most of the big waterfalls (Aira Force and Tom Gill) are further up North but still accessible by car for a brilliant day out.

When cooking, it's very hard to see over the hob as there is no direct light. I did have to shine the touch over the hob. All it needs is a little spotlight and problem solved. I am sure this will not be an issue in summer. We stayed during winter dark early nights. The extendable minor in the bath gets in the way as it sticks out. To have a smaller shower head to save on water. It might also help you get a longer shower before it gets cold.

The views from the pod are amazing. You are right next to the lake. The pod is very cosy and clean. Plus you can park your car outside near your pod.

The blinds at the front window was broken so sadly we couldn’t see the amazing view of the lake , we managed to fasten it up the best we could , otherwise great place

The only thing I didn't like was the bed was so uncomfortable for me, but I do like a soft mattress not a very firm one .

The whole cottage was beautifully clean nice little touches on arrival welcome pack and bottle of processco and even a little welcome pack for our Dog . Great location too. Stunning views of the lake just a short walk away

The only thing we said was missing was more lighting coming into the site but overall we loved it

The pods were quite cold at night but it was early November when we stayed.

Location is great, direct access to the water, pod was comfortable and had everything we needed. Shower was excellent
