How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There wasn’t anywhere Ito sit outside, only 2 benches mainly for smoking. Could do with a couple more if you just want to sit out when the weather is nice to to do so ,
It’s ideal location. It’s clean comfortable. Staff very friendly. Pub right next door that does excellent food and very reasonably priced. The beds are so comfortable

No scrambled eggs at breakfast it was on the list of items you could have but not available.
Nice clean hotel. With a pub adjacent to the hotel. Good shower and comfy bed.

Asked for ice, which was provided the first time but apparently, there was none available on the next occasion.
Convenient location with a pub next door and retail park close by. Excellent breakfast, I don't mind the frozen fruit, but it would have been better if it had been defrosted!

Only comment would be if slightly closer to town would save taxi home but probably better where it is as very quiet for great nights sleep
check in easy room clean and spacious breakfast better than described vending machine a god send after night on the town! Shower a great wake up call in the morning would recommend

Small issue with the air conditioner during the night, told staff in the morning, they were very apologetic. This problem wasn’t a major issue for us.
Location was great, and clean. Breakfast was included with our room. There was a nice bar and grill restaurant across the street.

The air-conditioning was noisy and impossible to control. Turned it off.
Great value for money. Excellent breakfast included at the price. Pub over the road had excellent food. Wonderful shower.

Lack of room service-we wanted some food to eat in our room but this was declined so we ended up going out of the hotel for dinner. I don’t mind paying a small fee for pet stays-but £25 per dog is excessive! You can board at dog at the kennels for less than £15 per night.
The staff were very welcoming, professional and helpful. I can tell they’re nice people as my dog doesn’t accept biscuits from just anyone. The bed was very comfortable and the air-con was a bonus!!

The complete visit from start to finish was great , I have absolutely no complaints and the hotel had a standard far above expectations. I would definitely recommend it to family and anyone else who may wish to travel in the area

Cant think of anything all went well.
All went very well ,clean room, nice big bed , nice tea and coffee shame no rich tea /hob nobs.to have with tea/coffee. As to air con put on till bed time to warm up room as weather outside was cold/damp watched tv. lots of cannels to see very nice . Iron and iron board in room to use great. Shower room just great nice hot water and very clean lots of towels and soap. THE STAFF all of the staff were warm and helpful and i would be very happy to give them all jobs. Thy do work to a very nice standard with all gests as thy were with us on this visit. The staff were excellent. Breakfast was just great served again by warm helpful staff .
