Bed had a really bad squeek that woke me up a couple of times, I've stood in rain with more power than the shower and there was no coffee in the coffee setup

Tiny thing but the bathroom sink was too small to fill the kettle but I worked out a way.

Bed had a missing part so sunk down at top. Also no breakfast and price should reflect this. A bit on the expensive side for the room .

Party until 0030. Saturday nights are heavy at the Hen House. Would have been fine if that’s what we wanted, however we were there to hike.

Massive room - king size suite, great staff, friendly people, close to shops. comfy bed and pillows. Free parking.

Odd Shower set up over bath, power shower fitted but ho hose and shower head, attached to this. Shower from dual tap set up over bath, from bath taps which is fine if there was enough shower hose to reach your head stood up, when to shower hose and head attached to rail. I am 5ft 5 inches and i had to sit in bath to shower or bend down. Fit a loner hose and everything will be fine.

How warm their bed was, it'd be nicer if they offered a blanket as well as a duvet. Definitely a nitpick, though, it's the only issue we had

I enjoyed the atmosphere and the openness of the room. It was really quiet considering it was a Saturday night, and while you can still hear the bar downstairs it was extremely muffled, incredible soundproofing! Very nice stay

The only problem I found in the room was the pillows were lumpy and uneven. There was guests in another room who arrived late and were very noisy talking loud and leaving the TV on all night and also loud and noisy very early in the morning so didn't get a peaceful night. The wall are paper thin and can hear everything so privacy is very limited.

The staff are wonderful and very warm welcoming, the room was very clean and practical. The pub has a pleasant atmosphere and the food was fab.

They stopped serving food at 6 but didn’t tell us this at 5 (such a shame the menu looked good) They don’t offer a breakfast. Very noisy. Shared toilet/ bathroom. No milk to make coffee and tea. Freezing cold about 1am till the heating came back on in the morning. Too quick to send people to the local spoons was their answer to everything pretty much.

Not keen on not having an en-suite but this is the only option for a twin room. We were aware of this when booking and it didn't spoil our stay.

Great food, very friendly pub/bar with great atmosphere. Staff very welcoming and friendly. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of free parking and very close to the station to get into Birmingham.
