Just wished we could of got there abit earlier and stayed longer in the morning rather then rushed about in the morning.

We liked the peace and quiet and the hot tub was amazing.

Late check in early checkout. Felt rushed. No communication from whoever that runs it. We had actually got married on 11/5, when I booked I asked about possibility of paying for extras such as bottle of fizz etc….no response, not even to say no.

The road into the cottages was terrible..pot holes full of water..not good for car suspension..taxi drivers said they will eventually stop picking up from there unless the road surface was improved.

The willow cottage is a very nice place to stay who is looking for a homely feel away from your home . Clean and organised accommodation. Outside environmental ambience is awesome.we loved our stay and happy for quick response from host whenever you need them . Hot tub is extra benefit if you would like a relaxing bath .

Too many bolshy signs and instructions about what I must and must not do which was a little off putting.

Beautiful views quiet location. Clean. Lots of hot water. Wi-fi worked well for us. Had everything we needed. Great private use hot tub. Only 30 minutes to Alton Towers.

quite remote so only one take away delivers (used uber eats), lighting at night is bad very difficult to find the property in the dark.

loved the hot tub, perfect for a family of 3-4, secluded if you want privacy, very close to nature, lovely views.

Nothing bad, would say lined curtains needed as very light in most rooms first thing in the morning.

There was loads of rules so you were worried to do something wrong and you might get charged or something.

The property was clean and out of the way of anyone else so it was quite!

Could do with a little more lighting but that didn't impact the stay at all. Just a suggestion. The outside was really dark so a few more lights would really help.

The place was stunning, directions easy to find. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, hot tub was great. Towels were so soft!! Would stay again in a heart beat.

Quite a few rules in place but didnt affect us as is understandable to keep other guests happy too that are staying in the same area.

The hot tub was a lovely feature after a long day out and about. Beautiful scenery to admire.

We tried contacting our host during our stay however never received a response, only the automated messages prior to arrival and departure.

The cottage location was amazing and had great access to facilities within 10 minutes. Extremely comfortable bed, with all the facilities in the cottage to make it a home from home. Despite the rain, we loved the whole experience and the secluded/private hot tub topped off our trip.

The fact that u had to strip your own bed!! The 2nd "bedroom" was a single bed and no more The bathroom had carpet in it!! Only 1 parking space... The road from main to cottage!!

Instructions /notes for heating and hot water. Did have it on heated up very fast... Ended up turning it off about 40mins. Liked the quietness if the area but nearest shop is 15mins drive (small asda) On checkout met a girl happly taking away... Lovely girl 💕

The 10pm curfew on the hot tub, we thought extending it to midnight would have been far more appropriate.

Could be made excellent with complimentary tea/coffee/milk etc provided for first night. Could provide cleaning products if you want property to be left clean as requested, just the smaller touches to make good into excellent.

Easy access to all of the local walks from house without the need to drive anywhere. Hen Cloud, Roaches, The Gun and Ramshaw rocks all within easy walking distance.

The cottage whilst nice wasn't the cleanest and we had to clean all of the cups, glasses and cutlery before using assuming this was down the the previous occupants not cleaning properly. However general cleanliness floors and sides wasnt great either.Small bedroom was really only good for sleeping and not big enough to stand in, would be perfect for a couple with a small child not so great for friends who want a room each probably should have looked into it more before booking, didnt spoil the stay though just to make others aware. Shower was scolding and couldn't get the temperature right.

Location was fantastic for nearby walks and close to the tearooms and local pub aswell. The hot tub was perfect and very private in a covered area so was great for the bad weather. Double bedroom was a good size with wardrobe and drawer space so perfect for a couple. The owner was very friendly and when I accidentally broke a soap dispenser couldn't have been nicer about it and didn't charge me either. Although there were some elements that could have been better I would return as I think overall it was good value for money and the location was perfect as we had gone wanting to do the local roaches walks.

Me and my partner stayed for just one night for her birthday. A lovely little place in the middle of the Peak District for a very reasonable price. Hot tub was a great addition. We both enjoyed our stay away from the hustle and bustle. Could not rate the staff as did not meet them, but instructions for getting there were detailed and easy to follow.
