Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomCheck out time was very early at 10:00am which coincided with the end of breakfast service. for a hotel of this standard check out should be up to 12:00 midday at least.
Room was spacious and had a pleasant outlook over the garden at the front of the hotel. Very near to the sea and the clifftop walk. Breakfast buffet was plentyful and substantial. On site parking was convenient but subject to a charge.

The bedsheet, towels and the tea n coffee in the room were OK.. The breakfast was okay, but no croissants.

United KingdomThe shower in rm 129 was terrible and the room was very warm when it wasn’t that warm outside. Also at breakfast our friends received little support from the staff when asked what food was gluten free.. and we had to rely on another hotel guest to help.

United KingdomThe room was very clean, however rooms are only serviced every three days when staying longer than three nights. Additional tea, coffee, fresh towels etc are available from reception. Calling a taxi is very easy, just press a button in reception, my taxi arrived within two minutes. Good location, just ten minutes walk to the pier. Shops, bars, restaurants and buses are less than five minutes walk away. Plenty of parking, the charge is £5 per night.
