Wasn't expecting a hostel. Very expensive for a hostel. Noisy at 0100 in the morning Only 1 pillow. Stained quilt seen through duvet cover.

Receptionist wanted photo ID for a room already paid for by card. You don't need a passport to travel by train from Yorkshire to Birmingham. Staff could have been more understanding - not the best look for visitors.

The bed is comfy and large. The breakfast is delicious. The staff are very helpful friendly and professional. Rooms arw clean but also : Rooms could do with a new lick of paint and a deep clean of the skirting boards

The bathroom was not fully clean, walls could do with paint as stains on them. Slightly grotty in corners and around the edge of the floor. Although the location was good the area was very run down and dirty. Lots of litter around the streets.

I liked the price and the room. It was very quirky .Great bedroom. Good location for Birmingham City. 20 min walk to Utilita or use tram from St pauls.

Just one shared shower working during our stay, but fortunately the hostel was not too crowded. The kitchen space is really cold but nice anyway.

It's just a 15 min walk to the city center. Super cosy hostel and friendly staff. Room was fine, warm and clean. We'll repeat!

Unfortunately it was a 8 shared space and the facilities were let's put it nicely heavily used. I did have to raise issues in the bathroom as there weren't cleaning products for those that made the mess to clean it up. The shower head was the wrong one so it was giving the wrong amount of pressure, which made an already unpleasant time in the shared bathroom a little bit worse. Disrespectful manners of a shared space attendee, late at night causing a little bit of ruckus with their "pleasure" seeking. Thankfully, it was only one night but still worth mentioning. The points above are not to do with the location or the facilities, just more answering the question of what I didn't like while staying there.

Perfect location for what I was looking for, direct into town by a short walk and only one train away from the airport! Lovely facilities with the cinema and zen room, didn't use the cinema room much but it's nice to know it's there to use. Used the zen room more for daily yoga and breathing techniques. Staff were lovely when I raised issues below and were dealt with in a timely manner!

Honestly the only fault was the guests in the room. There was a couple of people that had no hostel etiquette whatsoever. One would shout randomly in the middle of the night and another wouldn’t stop talking on the phone all hours through the night. Please be respectful of people you’re sharing a room with. I think the bedrooms could do with a bit of updating. And maybe get lockers that lock so people feel secure leaving their things behind

The reception/lounge area was great. Comfy seats, good selection menu etc. the location was good too - not quite central but not a far walk away to get into the centre either - probably took me 5-10 mins to get to the main area. The beds are super comfy!!

Nothing really . I would have preferred an upper room not the ground that I lodged in aside that nothing of concern . I recommend for others to book as they understand the business of hospitality .

Although the toom has been newly decorated the bathroom was in a bad state. Old, tired shower and obvious signs of damp with paintwork lpeeling off wall around shower. Didn't make it pleasant to use the bathroom. A real shame that they've done up the room and neglected the bathroom. Noisy hotel with lots if doors banging at night. Overall - superficially looks good but some things need improving.

The room was decorated really nicely. However limited hanging facilities, no TV and no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. You could buy these downstairs. Location good.

The bathroom is in need of a bit of TLC. The bed was really uncomfortable, very soft and the springs were poking my back.

The receptionist was really very kind, the reception area and lounge is nicely decorated. The room and corridors were clean. The bathroom was clean as well.
