The room was very small. I had a twin share room. It was a good thing I was on my own as the only place to put my bag was on the other bed. Only 600mm between beds which were hard up against the wall.

The hotel was very clean, quiet. The restaurant was closed but lots of pubs about serving good meals. Breakfast was excellent.

Shower did not work, and the water was too hot to use. No information in room, i.e. WiFi password, etc. No telephone to be able to contact reception. Room was way too small for two people, probably adequate for one! As a tourist hotel, no information for tourists. As a conference centre adequate. Breakfast bacon not very nice, ??cooked in am air fryer or microwave. Not a good range for a continental breakfast.. No consistency to breakfast from day to day.

Receptionist welcoming. Atmosphere nice decor very pleasant. Staff very helpful especially Duncan, and Rosie and day manager.

Room card did not work in room lock until 2nd day of my stay. No restaurant open for dinner My shower almost flooded the bathroom as it did not drain quick enough, so it leaked onto the bathroom floor

The bed was on wheels/casters and every time you got on and off the bed it slid across the room. The toilet and shower are in the room with only a curtain across the toilet. The room itself was small but acceptable. There were doors banging all night long which was annoying.

On the whole the hotel was acceptable. The shower was great as it was hot and very powerful.

The bedroom had an en-suite but only an opaque glass sliding door between room and toilet. ZERO PRIVACY and shower was just stuck in the middle of the bedroom

The toilet... oh my goodness. The toilet seat was waaay too small for the toilet, almost fell into it at night, had to kind of sit sideways almost. Also the shower head had some pubes hanging off it... my partner and I flipped a coin for who would get them away.

Good price, very close to the lovely village, nice bed and big towels, lots of refreshments in room. Big bright windows and not very busy roads so slept well with them open. Staff were lovely too and accommodating for a very late check in and even offered a later checkout.

Although the redesigning of what had been an office block was very clever, it did leave en-suite bathroom with glass doors for purposes of light but artificial light within meant no privacy when using facilities. Did have an issue with insects that was unsettling.

The person on reception was helpful when we reported a problem and did his best to address it as quickly as possible.

Room was very small with very little space either side of bed, shower opened directly into in bedroom & toilet/basin were only separated from bedroom with a glass sliding door, bed was not the most comfortable. Not great signage/lighting outside - difficult to find reception at night. Car park said it was patroled but lots of dark spots, so didn't feel 100% safe leaving car here. We felt the room was better suited to one person than two.

Staff were friendly & helpful, very clean throughout, good continental breakfast, not too far from motorway & easy to find, plenty of parking, air con in room. Arrived very late - staff were waiting, no problem checking in. I was served a very cold cup of tea with my breakfast but this was a genuine error & was rectified immediately. Good value for money. I would stay again on my own but would want a bigger room for two of us.

Difficult to find the entrance to the car park as there were no signs. Small room but for the price, it's reasonable. Very noisy, you can hear all your neighbours but they were quiet after 10pm. The mattress was uncomfortable, you can feel the springs.

The room was very clean and the condiments available in the room were great. Decor and lighting are perfect and many sockets for all devices.

Second time I’ve stayed here and ants everywhere same last time but this time we had to be moved rooms as they was all over the bed etc , one guy said it was a one off but it wasn’t it happened last time we stayed , needs sorting out

Beds very squeaky whenever you moved. Found nail on floor of bathroom floor and a couple of hairs in the shower. Not every member of staff wearing a mask, entrance to car park confusing.
