Great location - close to bus, train (to London) and local shops. Warm and well insulated, low outside noise noticed. Well equiped kitchen that we were able to make dinners etc. Sofa bed was comfortable, as were all the other beds. Martin was easily contactable and friendly. Can’t fault!

Good communication from Abodebed regarding our booking. Martin, our host was so welcoming, friendly and helpful and gave us great travel information especially for visiting London. Perfect location and easy to find. Apartment security was excellent and on site parking was a bonus. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, well appointed apartment with everything we needed. Quiet and relaxing with very comfortable beds. Easy driving distance to Harry Potter tour and supermarkets and shopping within minutes walk away. We'll definitely book here again !

The sofa bed was quite uncomfortable. Floors could do with a good washing.

Location was excellent as we were going to Warner Bros studio tour. Very close to main shopping area. Well equipped kitchen and cosy. Owner very helpful.

Rooms were so spacious and it was spotlessly clean.. everything you could need was there. Even left milk in the fridge and some cereal. Very close to many restaurants and shops . We had a great stay thankyou

We were in the area to visit Harry Potter World and this worked perfectly for us. It's a very convenient location at the bottom of St Albans Hill (the road from the M1) and on the Magic Roundabout. The host is very helpful and met us on site. You just message him when you're 45 mins away. Apartment has super comfortable beds, was warm in January and had plenty of hot water. It's also very clean. Undercover secure parking. Breakfast cereals were provided and milk. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of cookware if you wish to make your own meals. Wifi was good. We didn't spend a lot of time in the place except to eat and sleep. We wanted somewhere with space and light that was within reasonable distance from Harry Potter World (15 mins in a car) and this fitted the bill perfectly. (BTW excellent restaurants in Hemel's Old Town. Highly recommend Cochin and ChangMai.)

One of the nicest place we have stayed during our 3 weeks Europe trip. Compare to many other hotel/apt we stayed, Adobebed at Handleys Court is one of the best accommodation.

Martin, our host was amazing. Told us about the history and places to visit. Sorted out a taxis to harry potter world even offered to take us. Definitely recommend also 5 mins from shopping centre.

People below us were smoking on terrance and it kept wafting into our apt. We had to close windows. Sometimes it was noisy at night.

For 5 people, it was spacious. We liked having extra bathroom and a large fridge. Staff were very helpful. Located close to an Aldi.

The parking lot gate for check out. If the layby outside is full like it was for our check out then it's tricky to park the car outside and go back inside to post your parking gate key fob. The parking lot is basically on the magic roundabout so if the layby is full it's hard work.

The apartment was very clean and a nice size. I liked the personal touches by the host like supplying us with milk and cereal.

The only let down was the parking as I didn't get any space in the allocated bay on the first day. There were limited spots you could park in as most were reserved. The parking was also very tight in these spots. With the apartment I had asked for a king and super king bed and I got a king and a double bed but it was still ok as we had a sofa bed in the living room.

Loved the apartment and the view was great as it overlooked the big roundabout and although it was noisy with traffic i dont mind that as i sleep better with background noise. The opening balcony was great and the apartment was spacious. Both bathrooms had ensuite as well as an extra bathroom which was great. The parking is very secure to get in and out so that's an extra safety and there are takeaways near by that we could pick food from. I always book hotels but I would definitely consider apartments next time. The host was great with communication as I could always get through to him and he was very helpful.

Bit of traffic noise some nights but that was it. We shut the double glazed windows. Daytime windows we opened and there was a lovely breeze, as we' were on 4th floor.

Location, location, this 2 bed 2 bath apartment was centrally located in Hemel Hempstead with carparking included. We took the 302 bus to St Albans then the train to parkway, via the new DART train to Luton Airport. Martin and Allison couldn't do enough for us. They organised a very reduced private transport pickup for my husband from Heathrow as he arrived later. Everything was provided for our two and a half week stay. Beds were so comfortable, very high quality. Heating racks in each bathroom, free WiFi, huge amount of TV CHANNELS, dishwasher and washing machines provided with startup powders. Weekly cleaning and changing of bed linen and towels was also provided by "B"and "Gunars" (big thankyou to you both).. It was certainly our home away from home, after some intense tour around Spain, Portugal, Ireland, and Scotland. We walked everyday, to the local historic sites, Old Hemel (film location to a number of English TV series), pub lunch and cold beers to be had at The Bell in the main street. A leisurely 15min walk through Boxmoor Trust paddock filled with 12 black and white Galloway Cows was a joy, as you walk to The Fishery Inn and cafe located next to the grand canal (you can watch the locks being used). We took the train into London regularly. Purchased a return ticket to Watford and used our Oyster cards after that stop, in and around the tube. The British Museum is must and its free. Would recommend this long stay accommodation if you are travelling and using the UK as a base. We flew to Turkey to see Gallipolli for 3 days and only needed handcarry. We left our biger suitcases and personal stuff securely in the apartment. We had travelled from Australia and loved the location and still didnt see all of the local area. We will have to come back. THIS APARTMENT meet all and more of our expectations. Thankyou once again Martin.

Would not change anything.

Host was more than accomodating, if there was anything we needed they replied straight away. As a family of five there was more than enough space for us. Teenagers and toddler loved the apartment. Appliances and decor was very modern and maintained to a high standard. Close to centre where we could venture out without the car. We stayed for 3 nights. Very quiet, we did not get disturbed by any noise. Great price for what we got, when looking for a place to stay it was much better value than the branded inns and lodges. Would definitely stay again.

the owner is very friendly and helpful will even show you round the town. the apartments are in a great location stone through away from everything really great location. will definetly take my family back.
