The only small negative point would be highlighting on the booking that we were vegan and then constantly having to remind the staff when served with dairy products.

Absolutely nothing....

There is nothing about this hotel that can be criticised. The surroundings are beautiful, the quality and decoration of the rooms just stunning and the food is exceptional. This was a dream come true of a stay. We'd booked in because we wanted to eat at Smoke - as we had seen Stu win Masterchef the Professionals - but the courtesy and friendliness of the fabulous staff and the gorgeous setting has sent this to the top of our favourite hotels list. We thought we would never ever find one to push the Milestone from the top slot but this did it. We love the hotel and will be back as soon as we can.

Couldn’t fault it, the place was delightful to stay at & all the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasurable stay, plus they were knowledgeable about the history of the manor.

Very nice breakfast, exceptional rooms, the manor is in a beautiful setting, there plenty of areas to relax in, lounges, bars which we particularly enjoyed.

I had emailed about food options and was told there was a restaurant on site, sadly I wasn't told to book in so we were unable to eat there when we arrived which was a shame.

We had an excellent stay, we were upgraded on arrival to a fantastic suite, the receptionist on arrival was amazing, gave us a tour of the hotel and was very welcoming. We were then offered to be driven to the smoke house restaurant, food and ambiance was amazing at the smoke, breakfast was amazing the next morning and the service again was exceptional. All staff members were so friendly and made us feel so special and looked after the whole time we were there! We will definitely be returning and highly recommend for a couples night away !

The welcome & service we received from Alana was warm & authentic, she was just as enchanting as our stay! This was our second visit to the manor, however this time we decided to make the most of all the manor had to offer on site. We took a walk around the grounds and enjoyed a drink and food in the newly renovated bar area. The lighting & setting draws you in to the point you forget you have a gorgeous room to return to! The soundtracks & tipples tempt you to kick off your shoes & have dance or help to calm you if you find yourself loosing in one of the wonderfully selected games. The rooms have everything you need on hand, my wife was happily surprised to find beautiful products for curly hair & a diffuser! The beds envelope you in & instantly induce you to relax. The bathrooms are perfect for unwinding & the rooms allow you to relax in whichever way you choose. At every corner the interior choices, will create the most relaxing gorgeous backdrop to your stay. The team have done an incredible job of creating an atmosphere which instantly feels luxurious without feeling intimidating or pretentious.

Everything. Beautiful hotel, lovely staff always friendly and helpful, nothing to much trouble. Rooms where clean, comfortable and well equipped with refreshments( tea, coffee etc) and toiletries. Very good breakfast. Unfortunately we didn’t get the time to dinner in either of the two restaurant, which looked lovely but we will be back and will definitely be trying next time

There was a special dinner not available to us so supper alternatives were very disappointing and arrived lukewarm. Glass of Merlot available wasn’t to standard. It seemed as though the bottle had been opened for some considerable time.
