nothing was terrible, staff were friendly and overall would go back, but this is a hotel at a gold course, heaven for some, just another grass field for others!

Nice clean hotel, but looking a bit tired. Rooms was clean and tody, bed comfortable and generally quiet enough, but for example the wooden window frames were rotten outside, place needs a bit of an overhaul to bring it up to modern standards.

Beds could have been kings rather than doubles given the size of the room, and the hot water was variable at peak times.

No lift!

Our room was lovely ..right at the front.. very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice, loved the waitress service .. no buffet! Was lovely to be traditional, central for any extra supplies, everyone was so friendly.

Everything was excellent, no complaints at all, I would stay again and recommend it to my colleges, however, the only issue I have was the shower did not heat up.

The room decor was a little dark for the space, I had a single room so it felt small with the black sheets and purple walls but this is purely a personal preference. The walls were a little thin, I could hear next door's TV but earplugs fixed that for me. I will say the bed wasn't the comfiest but it was grand! I still slept well enough.

The main thing is the staff were beyond nice. Everyone I met there, at the reception desk, in the hallways, in the restaurant - all of them were so so lovely and checked in with me whenever they saw me. Really sweet and I would stay there again for their kindness alone. I went for a work trip so I just booked the basics so I wasn't blown away by anything, but I was not expecting to be either. I will say that the food was lovely as well, everything was fresh and delicious and they accommodated all requests! I tend to be a bit of a food snob but I had zero complaints, I was impressed.

If I’m being honest, and this a very very picky point, I do not get your logo GSG with the last G being mirrored, from a guy who has been in sales for 30 years, why is it not GSM Grimscote Manor ?? I’m sure you can explain it but does it represent the name?

The room was a little smaller than expected. However, since it was just me, I was still comfortable.

This is a hidden gem. Such a cute hotel, I didn't expect it to be so beautifully decorated and warm and cosy at the same time. The staff were lovely and welcoming. My room was clean and had everything I needed, including a mini ironing board and iron ( which was essential since I was staying away for work) would love to visit again. Thank you!

The room was fine but storage was poor. A wardrobe or cupboard would be really helpful. The bedside tables are somewhat primitive. The plug in the wash hand basin didn't work at all well.

The hotel is great and the staff very helpful and friendly. The TV was better than many and the WiFi worked OK.

Everything about our stay was excellent. The staff were unfailingly helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Tula especially was amazing! It made our family wedding very special I would thoroughly recommend this family owned hotel. It was truly refreshing to receive such lovely service.

The staff were very young and inexperienced, which made everything quite slow when we were ordering. Otherwise they were friendly and service minded and will be an excellent representation for this beautiful hotel.

Pretty standard breakfast. Lovely evening dinners. The interior and the standard of the hotel was superb and makes you feel welcome and relaxed.

Everything was delightful staying at this hotel. Such a lovely ambience and relaxing and time permitting would have liked to stay longer. The staff are exceptional paying so much attention to the smallest detail. Cuisine served hot, even the dinner rolls and breakfast croissants.. lovely and thank you.
