There was nothing that I didn't like.

The whole experience was excellent from the welcome at the hotel reception, through to checking out. The rooms are extremely comfortable with a fantastic bathroom. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of choice including both hot and cold options.

Service in the Bar in particular was slow and not in keeping with surroundings. Breakfast was bland, took ages to arrive and eggs were over cooked. Coffee very weak also. On checkout they included a 5% discretionary charge for service. I have stayed all over the world and this was a first! needless to say I had it removed...cheek!

The room was incredible, with high ceilings and an amazing bed in the standard rooms. But the best of all was the shower, it was incredible. The staff were all really helpful and friendly, we will be returning.

A bit messy at check in. I had pre payed for our stay as a treat for my hubby. Was asked to produce a physical card on check in, which I didn’t have (who carries a physical card these days? Saved on my phone). So the reception staff had to refund my payment and take the full payment off hubbys card along with a further £100 refundable deposit. Not the staffs fault but an inconvenient and unnecessary procedure.

Location, staff, environment/decor, food. Concierge sang happy birthday to us which was a lovely gesture, along with a welcome drink at reception. Grand piano was a wonderful accompaniment to our afternoon tea. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Nothing to not like.

Took ny husband on staycation here on a dinner, bed and breakfast package. It did not disappoint for atmosphere. We stayed in a Suite, which was huge with some great little extras. The projector wall is a real show stopper! Bed was super comfortable, big living area and bathroom. Food in the honey restaurant was excellent, as was the service.

Only thing is the toast at breakfast to come out with the breakfast not later as we nearly ate our breakfast. But it wasn’t a big thing we just reminded the staff and they was right on it.

Food was amazing and room was spacious and luxury .The staff was great couldn’t have done enough for you . Atmosphere was so relaxing well worth the money we paid. Definitely book again.

Not dislikes but slight areas which could push for 100% - A nice scent/ diffuser in hallways - A better quality remote control for TV which is more responsive with opportunity to turn down tv as opposed to fixed sound as people do not always go to sleep at the same time. - Interior walls in bedroom paint touch up. Inner Sanctum.

Loved the theme and location. 10 star staff, very friendly, efficient and welcoming. Quality of food and drinks excellent. Room was the most unique ever, lighting, decor, ambiance, comfort and style.
