Only 10min walk from train station. A 5min walk from supermarket and restaurants and a very quick bus ride down to Windermere Lake, which had more shops and restaurants:)

We booked very last minute due to a change in plans, was not disappointed with our choice. A Lovely cosy place to stay in a central location. Although hosts not on site they are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Reported a small issue and was sorted within the hour whilst we were out for the day, what excellent service! We had on street parking directly outside during our stay (may be due to the time of year - early March). Didn’t get chance to use the free health club due to our itinerary but really sounds like a great added extra. We loved the peaceful location whilst being a very short walk to a number of restaurants and amenities. We’ve stumbled across a gem and will definitely return on our next visit. Thank you Glen Wynn!

Glen Wynne was a beautiful property located in the town of windermere. It was a very short walk to the town centre and easy to access shops. The property was absolutely spotless and kept to a very good standard. Hosts Grant and Nick were very informative and friendly. Will definitely be returning :)

my only problem with the room, was i couldn’t seem to unplug the sink, i tried really hard but just couldn’t get the plug to move!

My second time staying at Glen Wynne, it’s a lovely place to stay, and i found the room to be so welcoming! the bed is super comfortable and everything was so clean!

I liked everything! Just a recommendation, a trash bin in the room would be great apart from the one in the bathroom. Not a big deal though.. I’m just fussy I think😅

The property’s immaculately clean. It’s so cosy too☺️ It is so important for me to have a cosy place specially after a fullday of walking/hiking. I also had a comfortable sleep at night. The location is just perfect. It’s central, accesible to all shops, yet enough distance to be away from the bustle of the town. I tried the free gym and spa, it’s amazing! I really enjoyed my stay.😍 And I must say, I loved the toiletries.😅 i ended up buying one for myself in their shop in town😝 Thank you to the hosts for the lovely experience! Will definitely recommend and book again.

The room heating was too hot even though we have turned off the radiator.

The property has all the facilities it needs despite its size. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient in fixing the toilet lamp for us.

I don’t think there is anything i didn’t like about Glen Wynne, apart from when i arrived i found the key code a little bit difficult to understand, but after calling the owner, it was really simple!

I really loved how central the property is to Windermere, as someone who used to live in Windermere i know how busy it can get and so it was brilliant for just being able to nip up into the village! The room i stayed in was really clean and tidy, and i think it has just been freshly painted as i could smell paint (not a bad thing by any means!) It is a beautiful place, and great value for money. Although Glen Wynne doesn’t provide breakfast, there are fridges in the rooms which make it perfect for bringing your own food and eating at your convenience! Such a fab place!
