The only disappointment was the breakfast, ,we all had cooked breakfast during stay, the eggs were very hard and you could tell the breakfast had ɓeen reheated under the grill, not the best xx

Don't know why but TV aerial was full of Dust so was the back and bottom of TV, rest of the room was nice ,Bed was ok, Bathroom had some black mould in and out side the Shower. Heating was on in Bathroom but not in main bedroom, spoke to the lady on Reception and she came and sorted it out, very Helpfully Lady. Breakfast was 9 out of 10 :)

Friendly staff, good food, accommodated (and remembered) dietary requirements. I loved the spa - and they watched my dog while I was using it! Problems with WiFi and heating but very quickly resolved. Even got suggestions for places to visit/walk locally.

Was told when booking in that my single room was small.Opened door of room and small was not the word for it.You couldn't even have a proper shower because the cubicle was so small.Anybody claustrophobic do not book room 23.

This was our second visit to the hotel this year & I can honestly say if we'd had this room on our first visit we wouldn't have booked a second visit the room was a good size bedroom but sad to see lots of cobwebs around the ceiling & a large black damp patch in corner by bed. The heating wasn't working on the first night so decided to use the spare quilt we found in the wardrobe, this had a hugh brown stain it. The next day we informed reception we had no heating & it was fixed by the time we came back that evening. Our room had small bathroom with no shelf over sink so nowhere to put wash stuff. The  door was missing from the shower cubical and the shower tray was dirty around the edges. There was black mould around the tiles as extractor fan came on but didn't work.

With the building being a little old, the walls are thin and could hear my neighbors with the TV on. Nothing a pair of ear plugs can't sort out.

Nice easy check in, friendly gentleman explained everything about the hotel. I had an evening meal, the chili con carne was full of flavour and plentiful. Lots of choice of drinks. Relaxing atmosphere. I had a single en suite room. The bed was very comfortable, good pressure and hot shower, the radiator was toasty (after a cold day on the hills was very welcome) Breakfast had plenty to choose from, cerials, hot breakfast, fruit, Crumpets and pastries. The staff was happy for me to fill my small flask for another chilly mountain day.

The room was enormous and we loved it! Breakfast was tasteful and filling. The hotel is in walking distance of everything. We initially booked one night. After we experienced it we booked two more nights. It is a lovely little town.

Some shelves in the bunkhouse showers would help. Had to put toiletries on the floor!! Drying room didn’t dry anything.
