Lovely and cozy, centrally located 1 bedroom apartment. It has a very well appointed kitchen. Everything we needed to create a quick meal. There were plenty of pillows and blankets and duvet to choose from! Highly recommended! Excellent hosts who quickly answered all our questions! Excellent extras in the fridge - thank you!

Location was brilliant. Right in the heart of York. I don’t think we walked more than a couple of minutes before reaching restaurants, museums and the Shambles. The apartment was spotless and comfy and the wine was a very appreciated and lovely touch. The hosts were prompt to give us instructions and arrival was made easy because of this. I would highly recommend this apartment to all my friends and family who wish to visit York. Thank you!

Apartment clean and well presented. Facilities excellent, although just for two people and two nights we declined to use washing machine and dishwasher. Excellent location for York Christmas Market, and convenience stores (Sainsbury's and Tesco) are close by.

Everything. Galtres apartment was stunning and comfy. The hosts are lovely, and checked in to see if anything was needed. The bottle of wine and chocs went down a treat too. Everything needed was there, from hairdryer, iron to cutlery and even smaller things like tea towels/towels. The apartment had a kitchen area, and TV with apps, not to mention was spotless. Our stay just added to an amazing week in York. Thank you Simon and Paula.

Everything about this apartment worked well for our 5 night stay. Although the bathroom was small, it was convenient and had an excellent shower. We appreciated having the bed in a separate room from the living room and kitchen area. The location was convenient and in easy walking distance to all that York has to offer. The owners communicated quickly and provided all information to make our stay a success.

The temperature was very hot and it was difficult to sleep first night but we managed to move the portable ac unit into the bedroom for the second night.
