Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe hotel was very dated and the room was tiny. This involved one person having to sleep against the wall and climb over the other to get out of bed. However, referring back to the price, and balancing the good and bad, we have no complaints. I was a bit confused by the presence of a fridge in the room whilst a sign on the front door advised that no food or alcohol was to be brought in to the hotel. Seems to make the fridge redundant.
The Galaxy hotel is very centrally located near Blackpool Tower. The room was clean and comfortable and exceptionally quiet. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The price charged was very reasonable.

United KingdomThe bathroom was a little dated, and the shower was not very powerful, probably because we were at the very top of the hotel. This is merely an observation, though as it must be said, everything was fully functional and never badly affected our stay at all.
We received possibly the warmest welcome I have ever had at a Blackpool hotel, which made us feel really valued. Kenny and his family were so friendly and determined to look after us. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable, and, for the price we paid was, very, very good value for money. The fridge in the room was a nice touch, too. All in all, my friend and I visit and stay in Blackpool at least once a year, as he is a DJs there, and The Galaxy suited our needs perfectly. I am certainly going to check if this hotel has rooms available when booking up next time.

That mum used a walking aid they kept it downstairs for her one of the nights one of the works was falling asleep downstairs but stayed awake just so he could keep my mums walking aid in the reception part. That you got a little gift bag when you first come into the hotel
