I booked three rooms for my family but when we arrived we were told breakfast would be in a bag delivered to our rooms. This was extremely disappointing as we were a family group arriving from different parts of the UK and breakfast together was a planned as a major part of our experience. Although we'd paid for breakfast at the hotel we found breakfast in a nearby cafe/restaurant. But as we were leaving to go to the cafe/restaurant we were informed that in fact there was some breakfast available in the hotel... but we'd already decided to go elsewhere.

no milk for tea - I know it says to ask if you want fresh milk but I presumed that meant UHT would be there. Couldnt be bothered to wait for some to be brought. Very dark - hard to read controls on lights and aircon if eyesight pool. No where with natural daylight to do makeup There was no desk. I needed to do some work and hate sitting on bed with laptop on my knee.

It was unclear that the breakfast was a tray brought to our room in the morning. Cold croissants and cereal bars were not what I had expected. Maybe I missed that detail in the booking? The fruit bowl and yoghurt was nice though

The room was very hot at night, the A/C didn’t work correctly. There was a strong smell of drains from the shower drain so we had to keep the bathroom door shut.

I wanted a cup of tea in the room but there was no milk so I had to pop down to the bar to get a cup of milk. Not a big deal but would be a good addition. The street the hotel is on was quite noisy through the night. You can hear music and people leaving bars etc. I would recommend ear plugs

As you come in the smell is lovely in reception. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The WiFi wasn’t working and the receptionist helped me on the staff one as I needed to work. Room was really clean. The robes are so fluffy and cosy!

This was probably the smallest hotel room we've ever stayed in... but it had been designed very well to compensate for the lack of space to move around.

All the staff were great, very attentive and welcoming. We met Ryan the General Manager and he was excellent - spending time telling us about the history of the hotel and suggesting great places to visit. The breakfast at Asha's was delicious. We had booked a small room, but it was beautifully decorated, felt luxurious and the bed was really comfortable!

The bathtub in the bedroom was so inviting but the plug didn’t work properly so we had to give up. The bath was perfectly positioned for laying back and watching the huge telly on the wall but overnight the telly stopped working! There were no sockets next to the bed so you had to charge your phone on the opposite wall. The shower had no power. The bathroom was a squeeze. There was no milk for making tea. There were only a handful of sachets of sweetener….no sugar! The Lutron lighting is far too complicated…..what’s wrong with simple light switches. The only light into the room was from a dirty roof light. Lots of little details that could be improved!

The inclusive breakfast was EXCELLENT. The location suited us perfectly for a party we were attending and also excellent for seeing the city due its central location.

We were on the 1st floor you could hear banging/stomping on the ceiling from other occupants and could hear noise from people on their night out other from that it was great
